War in Ukraine

I take it you are looking at immigrating to the glorious land that is Russia so you can take part in this "ascension"?

Or are you already there?

I would rather live in Moscow or Saint Petersburg than most US big cities. Give it 20 years and it would be a no brainer. US big cities are devolving fast.

Here's the problem with reports like these. Media are allowed to see hand selected grocery stores in North Korea where there is ample selection and supply. Those hand selected stores are not representative of the whole country. That is why they are hand selected by NK government officials.

Without Tucker's proof he was able to choose a grocery store in Russia at random, what he sees in the store is not necessarily equivalent to all the stores in Russia .

The cognitive dissonance is kicking in, McDad.

One thing that is funny about Putin and Carlson interview, is Putin acting like he intentionally withdrew from Kiev as a peaceful gesture rather than having the operation blown up by Russian Military Logistical Failures (the tank columns) and valiant efforts by Ukrainians to defeat the Russian Special Forces attacking their international airport.

Russia has made it very clear they are doing everything they can to protect the big cities, and kinda letting the rest of the nation suffer.

I really think that did set the tone early. If the armor had been able to link up to the airborne elements the war was probably over real fast.

the airborne also make it impossible for them to argue they weren't really trying to capture anything. you don't drop some of your best troops into completely cutoff areas if you are only making a show of force. they were going to be near 100% casualties unless you could link up with them. and way too valuable to just throw away.

Agree. It might have been the most pivotal part of the war. However, Russian Army has MAJOR logistical issues and it was on display with that failed operation. From what I have heard, even up to some of the higher commanders, no one was debriefed about the operation as well to keep element of surprise but the result was Russian Tanks/Divisions that were not prepared and frankly saw over 90% of them never even make it to the front or engage in a meaningful fight.

they clearly had some major issues then. I doubt we will ever truly know what happened.

Interesting...

Tucker missed some obvious facts (shockingly you did too):

We US citizens spend the smallest amount of our income (6%) on groceries compared to the rest of the world.

Russians, on the other hand, spend over 32% of their income on groceries.

Maybe you and Tucker can split a two-bedroom place in Moscow together and spend a third of your money at Pickled-Herrings-R-Us.

Yeah, as I stated I spent a lot less on food in Liberia but the average person in Liberia would struggle to even spend $ 30 a week on Groceries.

What does that have to do with sanctions not impacting the average Russian?
