So, once again, their argument boils down to, "We want amateurism and free market NIL will destroy it", when that's specifically what Kavanaugh hinted will get them murdered by the SCOTUS.

Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh rips NCAA in antitrust ruling, says it 'is not above the law'
Justice Brett Kavanaugh's opinion tears into the NCAA, says its business model "would be flatly illegal in almost any other industry in America."www.usatoday.com
Kavanaugh said,
So, the NCAA goes into a lower federal court and argues, "Yah. If you say we can't collude to limit their NIL capabilities, we'll be prevented from effectively colluding to limit their pay."
WTH are they thinking?
I’ve heard this from so many surgeons and industry reps. (Which while reps are important I couldn’t care less if they make less lol) A lot of the ortho guys I know say they try to make up the difference by doing more volume. One guy has switched to operating Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday. His only clinic day is Wednesday where he and his PA see around 100 patients a day and stay booked out by about six months.Maybe they are trying to model it after medicare and insurance companies screwing over physicians. On average 2-3% cut in payments annually over the past 20 years by Medicare. I make less per patient visit or procedure than I did 20 years ago. Never has medicare issued a cost of living increase for physicians. But it does annually for hospitals, DME companies, etc. Congress gets an annual 3-5% salary increase for their cost of living.
Why doesn’t SCOTUS address that? As it is, the cost of taking care of medicare patients was a break even situation last year. In January, we received another 3.5% cut. I feel for the athletes. If you have always wanted socialized medicine, it’s coming courtesy of your elected officials…
Sorry, different subject.![]()
They are all either cowards willing to let us take all the body blows while they watch from the side, if not actively seeking to use this to harm us in recruiting while we fight it out, or complicit in the status quo.tom needs to chill. really think we will need more state's to join us. I half expected other's to have joined already.
Perhaps in the TRO is in our favor they will.
Certainly looks that way. They are all either cowards willing to let us take all the body blows while they watch from the side, if not actively seeking to use this to harm us in recruiting while we fight it out, or complicit in the status quo.
I hate all of them, they make me wanna puke...what I don't understand is how they don't realize the truth of this...they are next...if there is a next.
Ope. . . you got a like from a new model copperhead. . . @Josh heypelThe fact you mentioned Alan Jackson before mentioning George straight will definitely offend a lot of people…but I’m just here to say let’s protect both at all costs![]()
