Has it improved anything for you?One of the many things I love about my Garmin is the plethora of information available and how accurate it is, the info I can check anyway.
I have a post it next to my bed that I write the time that I get up to go to the bathroom or kitchen at night so I can check it with my watch.

Not to sound dramatic, but It's changedy life. Now that I trust it to be close to and/or accurate, I've used the information to gain more information from books and the Internet so I could talk to my doctor about it. Obviously I didn't need a watch to do all this, but because of the watch it motivated me to get deeper into it.Has it improved anything for you?
Huh, I hadn’t heard about this one!Does this affect you @VolNExile ?

You mean like so you can go running and your wife can stay at home and track you on her phone or computer? If so, I don't know. Probably not Real Time on that one. I think you can on the Venue 3 but not sure. Can the routes be downloaded or linked realtime to a tablet or phone?
I was thinking along the lines of fishing and being able to retrace the route visually. You mean like so you can go running and your wife can stay at home and track you on her phone or computer? If so, I don't know. Probably not Real Time on that one. I think you can on the Venue 3 but not sure.
Probably could on the Samsung LLT version but you have to get service which is an extra cost.
Yeah, it isn’t fancy, but I like it. At first there were a couple of times I thought GPS was good and started the run, but it hadn’t kicked in yet.Good news for Winders. You like your Galaxy 6 @volwindy ?

Might be an option for you @82_VOL_83 if youre still interested.
You still like yours @NorCalVol67 ?
Lol. I did that just last week. And yours is probably fancier than you think it is. I know it's got a lot of the same mine does except the AMOLED screen and some stuff I don't even use.Yeah, it isn’t fancy, but I like it. I finally decided to check the signal before starting.
And I need to check the strength of my signal. My last one was easier to tell.Lol. I did that just last week. And yours is probably fancier than you think it is. I know it's got a lot of the same mine does except the AMOLED screen and some stuff I don't even use.
I read an article where some dude tested an apple, Garmin, Samsung and amazfit. He ran in the city in between tall buildings. The apple and the Garmin 965 I believe, did the best but we're off a little. I don't remember how much but it was significant considering the locations. And I need to check the strength of my signal. My last one was easier to tell.
Today I ran a short distance less than last Saturday, but it was .05 farther according to the watch.
The first time I ran with it, I was like what the hell, is .1 miles longer than it used to be.
It wasn't significant. The apple and the Garmin 965 I believe, did the best but we're off a little. I don't remember how much but it was significant considering the locations.
And possibly it could be your setting. I have mine set on "All + Multi-Band" it uses more battery but I still get a week out of mine and even then it shows 35-38 percent. So my point is it's worth it.
