A) oversight on my part, TBH. Forgot Dooley was Fall 2010.
B) Perhaps. But as someone who follows the Vols religiously and the rest of college football not necessarily religiously but enough to recognize big names, players, coaches, etc., Deboer wasn’t on my radar until he took over Washington. So my point here is that I don’t necessarily consider him being someone whose career is known to be a QB/Offensive mastermind. In fact, I’d wager a majority on here, if asked to give me a Top 10 list of coaches they consider offensive/defensive masterminds, Deboer wouldn’t crack Top 10.
So yes, I was wrong on Dooley, I don’t believe I was completely wrong my other part. And just because you cite a CBS article doesn’t mean I’m totally incompetent, but I appreciate the source material.
