mabey if we can replace the "fat orange stripe" unis with the checkerboard down it, it'll look a lot better.

But, hey, you're lucky i didn't make full-checkered pants for the unis. THAT would look horrid. The stripe will work.

The last time we wore stripes was when we got our butts kicked in the sugar bowl against NEBRASKA in 97.......then we get rid of the stripes .....then we win the BCS championship......then we go back to the tacky, GOD-4 saken stripes......Does anyone think we should get rid of them, sense all these recruits kiffin is getting is going to look at our glory years....annnnd we had no stripe on our leggs (which made us look more athletic)...?????hopefully you all will know my view point, but what is your's?

Obviously you were drunk when you posted this, but just so you know we didn't get rid of the stripes after the '97 season, but actually a few years earlier after the '94 season.

I always read how many on here want to change the uniforms. . .black jerseys, checkered striped pants, no stripes. . .I have always felt that the Tennessee uniform is the classiest of all!! DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING!! I must admit though, it took me a while to like the black trim on the away jerseys! Stay with class. . . :yahoo:

Wow I've never been drunk enough for stripes to manifest on pants. The simple fact is that they were solid white pants for most of Peyton's career at UT, which includes the last game he played in as a Vol. That being said, I don't think the stripes have really given us any sort of good luck, but I like them.
