The only problem I have with the white uni and orange pants is they need to get rid of the black outline on the jersyes. The pants are orange and white with no black outline. IMHO, I think the late 80's/early 90's white uni's/orange pants look best. Around 94 we went to an mesh jersey style with a lighter shade of orange, due to that the orange started to blend with the white. At long distances (announcer's booth) it was hard to distinguish numbers and names thus UT change to the black outline with black letters for the name.

exactly! I think the baby blue like the chargers wear would be cool as well, on a special occasion. :) just kiddin about second statement

:) No baby blue please. I suspect baby blue with hot pink unis are already being considered by Uni of Flowerdy. Their fans might be thinking that their present blue and burnt orange is a bit too bold and flashy. :naughty:

You in a colorful mood?

The Uni's at UCLA looked great last year. The only good thing about that game unfortunately. Good news!

I saw, but they list it under current uniforms. And no joke they had white pants there like a week ago

I'm hoping for a blackout in at least 1 big game this year, hopefully a night game, when everyone's all liquored up and crazy acting.

So we are officially orange pants with white jerseys all the time. Just take a look

Tennessee Volunteers football - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A week ago it had the white pants. Wikipedia knows all...

Please note that Wikipedia is NOT a reliable source. ANYBODY who has a account can change what is says. But there is nothing wrong at all with the orange pants...

Also I was reading down the list and found it neat that our first major bowl game was the Orange bowl.:)

You don't even have to have that. However, you do have to have an account to upload media, so whoever edited it probably had an account.

i know its easy to say that since anyone can edit the articles. but wikipedia is reliable most of the time. and most of the stuff on there is pretty accurate. i've even used it to study for exams when i can't find information anywhere else.

I still remember the "C" I recieved on a term paper for citing Wikipedia. Universities don't consider it a reliable source and unavailable for citing.

Agree 100%! I HATE the black outline! I like the jerseys they had with the orange number and then the skinnier orange outline around the number. Those, coupled with the orange pants looked dowright awesome!

Has Kiffin mentioned the game for the blackout yet???

There's not going to be any blackout.

The UTAD has to approve all uniform changes, not just the coaching staff. I have it on good word that they will not, under any circumstances, approve a football jersey whose color is anything other than orange or white. The will be no black. Not this season, not in the near future.

good!!

would look really cool:rock:like what Georgia did today. someone photo shop it.

I'm pretty sure the team used black as a primary color for the first 25-30 years of the team so it seems appropriate to go back to our original colors.

This black thing is nothing but a fad. And UT is all about tradition. So, I would not hold my breath that it would ever take place here.
