No…but does that mean they automatically lose? Then, I need the committee’s lottery numbers.
Obviously not. But they are clearly a diminished football team without their QB.

And I’m not saying I would be against putting them in over Bama. Or Texas.

I think it’s crappy for those players. I’m just saying I can see they are clearly not the same team at this point.

I think the NCAA bball committee does this too, right? Is it met similarly with a gnashing of teeth?

The head to head matters but so does the rest of the schedule. If Texas and BAMA's schedules were as similar as ours and BAMA's was last year then you break that with a head to head but it's not. Texas played a soft schedule and has a good win with a bad loss.
Why do you keep saying Texas had a bad loss?...they lost by 4 to the #12 team..🤷‍♂️

That’s such an airhead observation - The worst NFL team would trounce the best CFB team.

Really??? Thanks, professor…

The NFL is the highest level of football on Earth. The best of the best players from CFB.

But it is far from the best product.
You’re confusing “best” with “exciting.” You made my point saying the best of the best play in the nfl. Ironically, that means that means that’s the best product. It’s not even remotely close

You can prefer whatever you want. Millions of people bet on and watch it every week. Whatever. I certainly don’t have to. To each their own.

But it’s a really stupid observation. One that I’ve seen a few times here recently. Water is wet level stupid.
Actually, you sound pretty stupid. It’s quite funny😀😀

I wonder if Harper will be the first coach that Danny White has to make the tough decision in a few months. The Lady Vols struggled again today. :(

Based on the eye test that this Bama team would MURDER FSU, even with their 2nd string QB.
What eye test?...the eye test where Awful barn beat them except for the luckiest play in years?....or the eye test where they barely beat awful USF....or the eye test where they squeaked by awful Arky....or the eye test where they LOST by double digits at home?

SEC and ESPN brainwashing is strong...Bama would be lucky to score on FSU.

I'm not sure about UGA beating FSU badly. Georgia has a good team but also has plenty of flaws, with more unmasked by injuries as the season progressed. It'll be telling to observe their attitude and attrition over the next several weeks.

I do agree with your observation about Michigan's response to Bama passing FSU. I suspect any other prospective playoff opponent would've had a similar reaction, because post-season Bama is objectively a bigger hurdle than post-season FSU. Records aside, getting the best four in the post-season is the committee's only stated mandate. That's why there's been no rule during the four team era stating that "an undefeated conference championship trumps all other considerations". That was never the case.
Then **** the games...just vote on the prettiest teams and everybody stay home...this best 4 team excuse is pure 🐎💩

At the beginning of the year and then proceeded to get a ton better. Texas, otoh, lost mid year to a mediocre OSU team and proceeded to beat no one. Whatever weight you give the head to head is easily overcome by the number and quality of ranked wins BAMA has over Texas.
Why do you keep saying they lost to a mediocre OSU team?...they lost to #12 OKLAHOMA....by 4.

Not even remotely true.

Best Players != Best Product

That’s more sophomoric level thinking from you.

Last point I’ll make - let’s go back in time a few years. What if Ohio State was never given the chance down to their 3rd string QB (Cardale Jones) who was completely unproven at the time? One less Natty for them. They earned the right based on their body of work, just like FSU. Not some prognostication of how they may fare without their starting QB.

I agree they're terrible but... you can't take a team full of scrubs besides Jackson & expect to beat good teams. Idc who the coach is. Phil Jackson would look terrible with this roster lol. Not a single player TN has outside of Jackson would play alot much less start on any of the teams they've played the last few games and yall expect em to be UConn/SC level good lol.. some of yall just like something to b*tch about obviously
Who's responsible for the roster?

Section 115. Bringing the twins. They have attended every Tennessee bowl game with me since the TaxSlayer bowl against........ Iowa (we did miss last year because we were in Manchester UK). They will be off to college next year. Sad that this might be the last time for a little while. Would love to meet some of you out there no matter how awkward that is.

The same Bama team that needed a miracle to beat a bad Auburn team and barely beat an even worse 4-8 Arkansas team? Not sure what eye test you’re looking at.
The same one who just beat the #1 in the country who hadn’t lost in the past 29 games…and the same team who beat 4 teams currently ranked throughout the year.

The committee didn't prejudge, they held steady and gave FSU two games to demonstrate that their team was still playoff caliber. That didn't happen in either game. Instead, their offensive production in both games fell off a cliff by nearly every observable metric, compared to the rest of the season. Two very bad offensive outings coinciding with the loss of their starting QB. After watching those two games the committee believed that FSU's offense had been damaged enough to warrant dropping them out. Good defense notwithstanding, they had enough information to decide FSU wasn't the same team.
