College sports are ran terribly because it's run by conferences. All with their own interests. Not the sport's.NFL is best ran Sport ....that's why their net value is Billions of dollars....
NBA is 2nd best..
I will add another (nfl edition)Everyone knew Oklahoma would wax Boise.
Everyone knew Alabama would wax Utah.
Everyone knew USC would wax Tulane.
Everyone knew Michigan would wax TCU.
I don’t even know why we bother playing any games when everyone already knows all the outcomes.
FifyMehlen made a great point. The "best team" doesn't always win in real life. That's why you play the game.
You can't just take a preconceived notion of who is "better" and ignore the game results. Because that perception will still be there after the "better team" loses...so nothing will change that and the games are meaningless.
Deservedness has to have a place in all of this, ESPECIALLY when you've won EVERY...SINGLE..GAME.
Mehlen also mentioned how you adapt. Lose your star RB or QB and you change it up. FSU did so on the way to 2 good, multiscore wins and would have Rodemaker back as well. That's impressive.
I’m so confused by this statement. The committee operates however Nick Saban and his buddies in Birmingham tell them. I just can’t see Saban telling them to put someone else in over Bama.Better analogy to the current situation would be if Milroe had gotten injured against UGA but they still won in the end.
In that case, I doubt Bama gets in the playoff based on how the committee operates.
The NFL and College football are completely different animals.I'm trying to imagine the NFL trying this horse**** logic. "Well, we know what the on-field records says, but we're going to just do a random sniff test and state who the best teams are for the playoff."
Hello my brother!..It’s all rigged. You really think we’re winning a championship unless we sell our soul to the devil? Screw the SEC and screw this corrupt sport. This was the icing on the cake for me this year with my hatred of this conference. It started with the corrupt officiating and just went downhill from there.
