College sports are ran terribly because it's run by conferences. All with their own interests. Not the sport's.

I don’t even know why we bother playing any games when everyone already knows all the outcomes.

Mehlen made a great point. The "best team" doesn't always win in real life. That's why you play the game.

You can't just take a preconceived notion of who is "better" and ignore the game results. Because that perception will still be there after the "better team" loses...so nothing will change that and the games are meaningless.

Deservedness has to have a place in all of this, ESPECIALLY when you've won EVERY...SINGLE..GAME.

Mehlen also mentioned how you adapt. Lose your star RB or QB and you change it up. FSU did so on the way to 2 good, multiscore wins and would have Rodemaker back as well. That's impressive.

Just saw that Bama made the CFP. That is criminal. If the committee went by best team I agree, but not most deserving. FSU should be in.

Better analogy to the current situation would be if Milroe had gotten injured against UGA but they still won in the end.

In that case, I doubt Bama gets in the playoff based on how the committee operates.

I’m so confused by this statement. The committee operates however Nick Saban and his buddies in Birmingham tell them. I just can’t see Saban telling them to put someone else in over Bama.

College football is a joke. It’s all money. The reason I quit watching NFL. I guess the same might go for ncaa. Guess more time to spend with family on Saturdays. Maybe I’m over reacting. Just feels like ncaa is becoming just like congress. Disgusting.

I used to believe that...but the SEC is not going to let us in that little party....the obvious screwing of us on the field by the SEC hitmen was all I needed to see.

I'm trying to imagine the NFL trying this horse**** logic. "Well, we know what the on-field records says, but we're going to just do a random sniff test and state who the best teams are for the playoff."

The NFL and College football are completely different animals.

College football regular season is GOAT.

NFL has divisions, is smaller, has parity, and even at that the best regular season team doesn’t win.

Same with MLB, college World Series, March madness…. Postseason is a different season.

College football is unlike any other of the aforementioned. Booger’s earlier point proved the contrary. If H2H is some heavy weighted end-all be-all tie-breaker, no one would ever schedule them. I like the marquee matchups during the season. That would go away.

College football is yeah corrupt, subjective, political, and they are the only ones that do have liberties to pick their champions.

Postseason will never be perceived as fair until there is one super conference, four to eight divisions… like the NFL.

This was the icing on the cake for me this year with my hatred of this conference. It started with the corrupt officiating and just went downhill from there.

I am sure the politics and lobbying were in play. Essentially, this is really a playoff made up of 2 teams from the Big 10 and two teams from the SEC.
