It’s really a perfect storm. For all the Bama complaining about how if they just scheduled a softer non-con, they’d be in… scheduling Texas makes sense for them. There was probably like a 95%+ chance that playing that game better positions them for the playoff. Obviously a win would have been huge, and it was very unlikely that a loss would really hurt them if they could run the table. But it was a 95% chance that it would work out for them, not a stone-cold-lock 100% certainty. When you have three undefeated P5 champs for the first time ever (right?) AND the other P5 champ happens to be the team that came to your house and beat you… well, it was a 99% chance it would help them, wasn’t it?

Between FSU today and Bama that should of lost last week to Auburn—- FSU looks like they belong.

FSU won’t be starting a true FR 3rd string QB in the playoffs.

I mean maybe, but QB 2 didnt light it up against a bad Florida team. If Travis wasnt hurt, there would be no debate.

For me its more about who I think can produce the more entertaining games since the Vols arent playing, and who can challenge Michigan. I just dont see FSU with QB 2 or QB being competitive.

It was the "racist" bit that threw me, I guess. Puts in mind a different border. Non biggie.

The only reason I replied was that 'esposa y yo' have been spending quite a bit of time south of the border, and most of it is not what media tells us. Probably some of the most idyllic times in recent memory, with some of the most amazing people, in an amazing culture.

I'll bow out now, and enjoin the UGA bashing.

They are adults that bark like dogs.

If the committee lets FSU out, they should 100% have to tell that, word-for-word, to all the other 84 scholarship and 100+ players that won every **** game and are still healthy and hungry.

Serious BS to deny all those kids their earned opportunity. Basically telling the kids trying your best and winning in life means nothing.

FSU will be better with their 2nd string QB.

Alabama and Georgia struggled last week against MUCH WORSE competition. Maybe they also just suck and a contest against each other doesn't determine if they deserve to be in the playoff?

Alabama had to beat a bad Auburn team on essentially a hail mary. If Auburn deflects that ball there wouldn't even be a discussion today.

Yet with how bad FSU looked they still won soundly again the #14 team.
