Booger McFarland was just talking about it and he made some good points. It’s about wins and losses. Wins have to matter. He said if they don’t then why play? I agree. An undefeated conference champ gets in. Texas just dominated in their conference championship. And they beat Bama in Tuscaloosa. Bama beat UGA at a neutral site. That matters.

You are right if FSU wins it should be Washington, Michigan, Texas and FSU.

Exactly. The games have to matter. The games tell the truth. We can make our own assumptions of how good Florida State is or isn’t without Jordan Travis. We can make our assumptions on if Georgia is one of the best four teams in the country. Those are all assumptions, though. On field results are facts. Picking the top four teams has to be based off the on field results.

You can't leave out the undefeated conference champions. So Michigan, Washington, and FSU will be in. Yes, FSU is overrated, but they're an undefeated Power 5 conference champion. They're in. Last spot goes to either Texas or Bama, and Texas deserves it for the head-to-head win in Tuscaloosa. This whole argument that games at the end of the season mean more than games at the beginning of the season, then why have a damn season?? Texas won the head-to-head and should be in.

And championships don't carry over to the next season, so people saying Georgia should "get to defend their championship" are being purposely dumb. Football is season to season. There is no carryover.
