And I honestly don’t really care who gets selected because if Tennessee isn’t in I couldn’t give two ***** about anyone else, but the official College Football Playoff website states their mission is “For purposes of any four-team playoff, the process will inevitably need to select the four best teams from among several with legitimate claims to participate.”

Like, that is their stated explicit mission statement. It does say “best” not “deserving.”

The only constant in college sports is that the criteria is never followed in any consistent manner lol. It would be better if criteria didn’t even exist at this point.

I think we could beat current Fla St - not sure how you put them in. Undefeated but it’s the acc. 5 conference champions and 4 spots - somebody’s gonna feel robbed no matter what.

Because if they win this game....they EARNED it...and they will have EARNED it the freaking hard way....with literally 2 hands tied behind their back.

They are not gonna leave out an undefeated P5 conference champion. That would set an extremely ugly precedent but I guess with the expansion next year they feel like they just have a mulligan to screw up this decision.

I’ve had that checkerboards troll on ignore for months..lol..makes things so much more pleasant.

In the past I've had him and a couple others on ignore, but not now. Sometimes you just need some comic relief; he provides that because most of what he posts I can only take as jokes. I can't take him seriously.
