As the highest ranked G5 team, yes.

Sucks. But that’s how it’ll work, I believe.

I’m also curious how they will seed the G5 team. Does it get the #6. Or does it get seeded similarly to how the NCAA tournament committee rewards conference champs from lesser conferences.

Did they say that? I only remember them mentioning full body of work. Actual quote from that Boo fella.

They lost 2 close games at the last second and we lost 2 games not that close. Is how I took it.

12 teams next season is great but it will be just for show....

Chalk will prevail 95% of time , you may get the occasional big upset...

But it will be surprising if semifinals every year aren't the top 4 seeds every year....

Just more $$$$$$ for networks ...

Anybody really believe a 12th seeded Kansas State would even smell the championship game?😏😏😏

In all honesty, that's the way it should be. Pick the best teams.

Injuries matter. Ignoring them undermines the credibility of their selection.

UGA missing out is much more helpful, since Kirby isn't solidified as best coach ever like Saban, so losses might actually affect UGA.

IF FSU wins I fully expect the CFP committee to botch this decision just like I hope SEC officials make the right calls but know full well they are incapable and incompetent.
