No I keep a 4 team playoff because if you cant win your conference you dont deserve to play for the biggest title in your sport.

Sports are a meritocracy, agree.

Why were we not a 5 seed? Because Hendo was hurt. Comittee knew we weren’t at full strength. Just like a QB1-less Florida State… they are not better than the SEC champion.

*Current* College football playoffs is a different, weird animal than other tournament sports. Committee has liberties. 12-team will change it.

Alabama is one of the best teams right now. Hate it.

Saban will be retiring soon, but he's going to get all the recruits he wants until then no matter if he makes the playoff or not. It doesn't help or hurt us at all if Bama gets in.

UGA missing out is much more helpful, since Kirby isn't solidified as best coach ever like Saban, so losses might actually affect UGA.

It’s called bias, and we all know what that is doing to the game. When teams play unbalanced schedules, you have to use the results.

Hope I'm wrong but I think they put bama and texas in and leave out florida state. They'll use quarterback injury as the reason. Hell that was their reasoning for ranking us behind alabama last year even with us winning head to head.
