@Glitch with busting through the board room gif. I was there last night and thought he would be out for a while.

While the defense was poor and left many wide open 3s, the Tar Heel fans I was with stated this was easily the best they have looked on offense hitting shots and free throws in many years.

They were amazed at DK and his ability to take over a game. It was fantastic to watch live. Also, JJJ played how he should every night on O.

Finally, I was proud of Barnes for benching Vescovi for most of the game. He’s didn’t have it and it was evident early. Even the Tarheel fans wanted him in as their player, Wheeler, was the same last night.

It sucked we lost but I appreciated our fight and we just ran into a team that couldn’t miss. Keep improving and make a deep tourney run.

This is unfathomable to me. He was a disgrace there and his history before that was not exactly sterling. Hope he fails miserably.

FBI, please investigate this poster for inside trading.

Insider trading enforcement (by the SEC) is similar to how the NCAA enforces its rules. The egregious offenders do it with impunity and the small fry get slammed. And the real power brokers don't even need inside information, because they control the money supply and thus entire markets.

I don't have power or inside information, so my punishment is to suffer the consequences of decisions made by those who do.

Thanks Bob Costas.

"This is all just sooooo great!" @BigSteve09
I still don't understand your problem with all of this. What is ruining the sport? Players getting paid is the thing that ruined CFB? Or players going elsewhere to get paid more?

The players are just the most recent group to do that in CFB.

The coaches do it.

The ADs do it.

The programs themselves do it.

The conferences do it.

The TV execs do it.

Or are you under the impression that the players only started getting paid a few years ago?

Mertz played the best ball of his career this year. Looked like a totally different QB.

It's absolutely a good thing for them he returned. It's why Max or whatever his name was entered the portal.

And I refuse to be duped again or think we win easy against them every again- no matter how horrible they look game 1. They live rent free in our heads. It sucks.

Honestly, the whole transfer portal in ALL sports is getting ridiculous! Kids playing for 6-8 years. Kids transferring without having to sit out. Then some kids dont get cleared and other do? Its as bad as pro sports now. There is very little loyalty in todays sports! It sux!
Starts with the coaches who do the exact same thing. Most people in the world would jump ship for another employer for a 40% raise as well.
