Yeah, anyone that even suggests moving on from Huepel is out of their mind at this point. I think last season actually showed us what the norm could be under him. This year is likely aberration when it comes to QB play under Huepel.

You don't want to see it, the ramifications of the truth would blow your little "fair play fantasy" mind.

The SEC encouraged our opponents to maul and hold our DL with absolute impunity.

They did not "not show up"...they were screwed over.

I really think it's something systemic. Maybe travel in a day earlier? Figure out how to replicate your home routine on the road? I've never seen a more stark difference in a team at home vs on the road in football. Even last year with better players, we looked like a different team on the road.

I feel like it has more to do with the coaches and could have to do with the spotters up in the booth.
The way Neyland is set up the booths are angled down toward the field where you have a pretty good line of sight, other stadiums it seems like the booths are set farther back. This offense relys a lot on the eye in the sky to declare personel but from a different vantage point it probably takes longer to see the things that need to be seen.

I agree, precisely how they won. Give your young back-up QB a shot to learn as he goes and have the O's back. Win as a team. That is what we have not had yet. I do not blame Heup. I have said all along I give him 4 years past the NCAA resolution. But that means coaching changes with methods, culture and hiring.

I want to see fight within the rules, not the idgit penalties and stupid stuff. This year I see it in the D-line and that's it. It's hard to get that team culture when there are divided loyalties and show ponies playing.

I think Elko is a good hire for them. He was a good DC for TAMU and has a lot of familiarity with the program. He also helped to recruit a lot of their defensive studs. Much better hire than Stoops IMO.

He literally admitted to doing exactly that on purpose a few months ago...that is why I don't understand why he is allowed to continue.

It's really not though, I want to see TN win a championship, anything short is a bust, and seeing people celebrate wins over schools who have no shot at a title while Bama, UGA etc.... whip our ass just irritates me.
