Its a miracle he hasn't been booted. He has to be trolling. I dont think its possible to be as consistently brain-dead and intentionally inflammatory as his comments are.I wish @Freak would just boot him. The arguments aren't even close to being rational or factual. Just goalpost shifting and making up fantasy realities to justify why he thinks Heupel sucks.
Just boot em
These are the type posts I come to this board/forum to read and comment on, not all that high school name calling and picking at other posters. I don't think we are tough enough to handle the road well yet. This roster seems to have too many betas who react instead of acting. You have to enforce your will on opponents. If the arena causes you to get shaky, you are not ready to do battle. Last years roster had more alphas who graduated, some are in the NFL now.We have to evaluate our road woes in the off-season. It’s been an issue two years in a row. Have to get that fixed to beat the best teams.
Well, let's see. For the first five years as a HC, Heupel's teams averaged 42.8 PPG. 2023 we averaged 31.5. If you just take into account his years at Tennessee with a much tougher schedule, his first two teams averaged 42.7. So, just based on this data, it looks like 2023 is closer to an outlier from an offensive perspective, than any of the other five seasons. We will see, but I'm not one for blind optimism. Show me.
Keeping Nico healthy as he grows into the job (on the field) is paramount for 25-26 success.Agreed. 8 wins while breaking in a new QB with a thin roster would be good. Would be disappointed with 7 but not the end of the world. Get to a bowl with Nico, keep Nico healthy, keep stacking talent, 25 and 26 are the seasons of consequence.
Yep. I was impressed by FSU last night. They didn’t flinch with bad calls early or bad QB play. Defense stepped up and dominated after the first quarter in a harsh environment. Not easy to play at night in the swamp. Have to tune it out and go all out. These are the type posts I come to this board/forum to read and comment on, not all that high school name calling and picking at other posters.
