I’m not gonna fight with Pate about who threw the bigger fit over an awful coaching hire, but it’s pretty obvious we threw the bigger fit.

Edit: and it may just be because ours happened in the middle of the day and our administration seemed significantly less willing to cave.
We had actual government officials on the side of the fans lol. Ours was definitely the bigger fit.

Apparently VOLS have mean teams. Clark Lea saying they were fighting for one another, and the Purdue leader saying that our basketball team were bullies or whatever. (Love our AD response) Then Kelly Harper said her team was too nice and they can't be that way. I guess that's it.
I don't know how Kellie Harper sees anything ...standing on sideline with tears in her eyes most of the game....

Idk why he would with the money he’s making but we will have to go get Will Rogers if he does
Yeah? But I never said Nico was leaving. I actually said I have no idea why he would. I figured if he wasn’t dressed, he was probably injured. Again, it was several hours before game time.
Ok did you say we have to get will rogers? Yes
You also posted the tweet knowing it wasn’t true searching for some drama
why post ******** like that

Ours was a full-blown spectacle. A&M fans may have been building up to that, but it was over before it could get there. Wrong time of day for it, anyway.

Anyone else excited as hell about this offseason?

I want to see the portal action and see Florida, uscjr and Kensucky turmoil.
things are about to heat up, but a little differently.

The portal will reopen at midnight on Dec. 4, the day after the College Football Playoff field is revealed. As opposed to a 45-day window in December, that number has shrunk to 30 and it closes on Jan. 2. Athletes on CFP teams will be allowed to enter an additional five-day transfer window in January.

But in other cases, funds will be deployed to retain talent. And as the overall NIL market has settled, so have some of the hard-to-believe numbers that have been tossed around in the portal the last two years.

“I don’t expect the cash pool to be as large,” a leader in the collective space recently told On3. “Obviously some players will go in to chase a bag of cash, but the leading factor for an athlete’s decision to leave is to play immediately.”

The portal window shrinking will only help. Some expect athletes will have less time to make visits and place bidders against each other.

“I don’t think it’s going to be chaos,” added an SEC collective leader. “But that top 10%, depending on the quality of talent, will still be able to drive the market.”

No. You can’t seriously think the 12-1 champion of the SEC is getting left out of the playoff. It won’t happen.
1) Michigan - undefeated champion
2) Washington - undefeated champion
3) FSU - undefeated champion

Texas - 1 loss champion
Bama - 1 loss champion

You think Bama is jumping an undefeated FSU even without their QB? Or are they jumping the team that has the same record that they lost to earlier in the year?

Texas and FSU hold the slight edge over Bama in a lot of FPI and SP+ metrics. Strength of Record, Strength of Schedule, Efficiencies, etc. Bama is 3rd behind those two in all.

Its a weird year. Personally, because of the above, UGA is winning the SEC. Sankey ain’t about to have a situation where there’s even a chance an SEC team gets left out.

So the fix is on by Sankey, Georgia wins to guarantee a birth in playoffs?.....

How does he explain this to his hierarchy...Nick Saban?

Does this mean we will get to see holding called against Alabama?

This week they will be #1 maybe...Michigan beating OSU was more impressive than Georgia beating Georgia Tech...

If Alabama beats Georgia this Saturday ...Georgia should drop out of Top 4...Alabama has too many obstacles to jump ...Texas, Oregon ,FSU and Washington are above them...

Hope SEC playoff chances explode in Sankey's face.....
You should ride the Oregon national title winner future i threw on yesterday 😀

The hierarchy has always been the $$$$. For the past decade Sankey has been getting on his knees in front of Saban because of one thing: he’s the cash cow. Now, he has two cash cows.. UGA/Bama. He values the money the most and can now just choose which cash cow he needs this year to get it.

Well when 12 team playoff begins next season ...Sankey better get him some knee pads....

Lots of slobbering to do ....

I know Tennessee is in SEC ...and the conference is really good....but this ACC is weak and FSU shouldn't get in being said is crazy talk...

Head to Head this season ACC vs SEC in matchups...
ACC won 6
SEC won 2
Tennessee and Kentucky with wins
Wake Forest, FSU beat 2 SEC teams, Miami, Clemson , UNC all with wins...
Georgia/Georgia Tech?

Explain why you think so outside of media rankings. MSST beat their 3rd best team and their best non conference win might’ve been a tight Utah win at home against a 5-7 Florida.
I've watched more pac12 and acc this year than I care to admit. Acc is slower. We aren't comparing to the sec. It's acc vs pac12.

This screams Webb, Sampson, Perry, and Thomas.

Edit: Nichols as well, since a few posters have said that this morning.
Sampson would be odd considering he’d be the lead back next year, Webb has played a decent amount and would be in line for a bigger roll next year, same for Thomas but that’s no guarantee so I could see him moving on. Agreed with Perry, any of the O-lineman. Christian Harrison is probably gone and for some reason I think Tyre West may be gone.
