I’ll be rooting for them. I cannot stand the alternative and I don’t think Florida State can win without QB1. Yet Oregon has played almost nobody. In the one good team they played, they lost to. I’m not drinking the PAC koolaide.

People said same thing about TCU who beat Michigan....

My only complaint about Huepel this year is that with Milton’s limitations, I wish we’d have run a whole lot more option. Wright prob would’ve had at least 1,500 and plenty more TD’s if so.

There is a better chance of Alabama beating Georgia and two SEC teams making the playoffs than zero teams making the playoffs. In no world will the NCAA allow both Georgia and Alabama to miss the playoff at 12-1 and lose all of that SEC money.

To play devils advocate, Arizona today would beat today's MSU by 40. Both are totally different teams now. State had a lot of fight going into the season and it fell apart pretty quick.

I would say the QB, Moore is out.

I could see a lot of DB's gone. Sadly. If they were to stay and wait until after SP, they'd prob see thst the Senior heavy class/starters is gone, baby gone.

Part of the reason for that is he taps himself out, a lot. For whatever reason, his cardio can't keep up with his effort.

If Addison Nichols transfers for "lack of playing time" it's either because he's dense or because they told him to transfer. He is talented enough and there were opportunities to have started this year, but the story all year was that he hasn't put in the work. That's on him and only him.

Did anyone listen to the 247 podcast last night? McKee, Rucker and co. went on for a while saying we’re probably an 8 win team again next season.

If that happens, even if Vegas has our O/U at 8, what would the consensus on it?

I think the new SEC will probably make 8-9 win years a lot more valued than they are now. It’ll just be too brutal of a schedule not to lose a couple games or more for most teams.

Swain has said on several occasions that heupel has to figure out how to play more than 3 receivers or we will always have depth issues there. I don’t know if that was him alluding to anything or if he was just stating his opinion.

What are the seeding rules for the new CFP? I imagine it isn’t just the Top 12 teams with conference champions right? If it were then it’d cause a lot of SEC heavy playoffs in any given year.

I’m sure they have a token slot for the G5 schools to get murdered in the first round, or limits on teams per conference, right?

From what I can tell, yes. It didn’t take much though. Maybe it was because I was on the front lines for Schiano Sunday and just watched A&M’s revolt from the periphery, but I don’t think they had nearly the push we did.
