I wouldn’t think this is the case, Stoops already has a large buyout at UK, so this wouldn’t make sense in that case. If they were just trying to get by while they pay off Jimbo’s buyout, then someone like Traylor would’ve been the pick

Really feel like we might have another win or two if everyone stayed healthy like last year because the drop off from the starters to the backups was huge due to inexperience or lack of talent. Coop was out first part of the season, we lost Pili first game, turns out Joe had bruised ribs through the first five games or so, Bru got hurt smh, multiple injuries on the oline throughout the year, Hadden hurt after he finally started playing well, Walker got hurt later, lost Thorton when he started finally playing well and probably more that I can’t remember right now. We limped into the last part of the season.

And of course the refs killing momentum for us all year. Not saying it’s the only reason why we lost some games but any chance we had in some of those losses were taken away by terrible calls on us or no calls for the other team especially in the Florida and Bama games.

Fair enough. I just think their history, the fact they’ve won a title in the 2000s, that they are the top dog in a talent-rich state combined with untold gobs of money to burn in the NIL era will make them rocket to the top of the SEC. Texas A&M has been the third or fourth most consistent program since joining the SEC in 2012, and I think it will be more of the same and then some with Texas. Time will tell, but I fear Texas.

Never, I say never fear texas. We’re their daddy. Historically and in their future.

Florida moves to the edge of their seat

An average of 11 carries a game for the most dangerous running back we’ve had in the last 20 years.

I just wondered if they were holding him out after he would tap out once they reached the red zone. He tapped out more than any running back I can remember.

I don’t understand why people are upset with the sensabaugh offer. Worst case scenario is he ends up buried on the depth chart. Heupel is no stranger to dealing with wasted scholarships. See the 2021 class for about 20 examples. Hopefully the kid overcomes the challenges of being parented by someone a lot of people don’t like. Pretty unfortunate situation IMO. Hope he does well wherever he goes.

AZ changed QB to Fifita. Their starter at the time, de Laura, was a turnover machine.

Still, they lost to the second worst team in the SEC. I cannot understand the love for the PAC. They won’t sniff a win in the playoffs against Michigan or Georgia. We see this year after year.

I’ll be rooting for them. I cannot stand the alternative and I don’t think Florida State can win without QB1. Yet Oregon has played almost nobody. In the one good team they played, they lost to. I’m not drinking the PAC koolaide.
