DaRon Bland wasn’t ranked by any recruiting service. He went to Sacramento State. He’s the best CB in the NFL this season and just set the record for Pick 6’s.

Sauce Gardner was ranked the 1605 player in the 2019 class by 247 composite. The 154 CB. So he went to Cincinnati. He’s now a top 2-3 CB in the NFL.

Aqib Talib was a 2* recruit and the 979th overall player by 247 composite. 74th CB. So he went with his best offer…lowly Kansas. Likely future HOFer.

Derrelle Revis was the 460th overall recruit, 37th CB, and a 3*. He went to homestate Pitt, his best offer.

So obviously, Sensabaugh can’t possibly be any good because his best offers are Tennessee, NC State, Missouri, and Vanderbilt, and he’s a 3* recruit.

Good thing Tennessee didn’t steal those recruits from Sacramento State, Cincinnati, Kansas, and Pitt. Because those are NOT the level of schools we’re supposed to recruit against.

And before you say, “exceptions don’t disprove the rule,” spare me. I’m not saying they’re the rule. Because there is no “rule.” Which is patently obvious by the fact that these players exist.

I 100% see what your saying but none of those players ever won championships either
Star system is overrated for the nfl but it does matter big time for college and the past champions reflect that
Guys develop at different times and that’s why you see guys flourish in the nfl as compared to being not much in college

We got to the game early enough to go to the Vol Walk. We were in no rush to leave after the game so it wasn’t bad either way…(I am used to trying to leave Rangers, Mavericks and Cowboys games where the traffic flow is abysmal).

Maybe he was able to perform the way he did because of the lighter workload. He had a great offseason in the weight room without losing any speed. I thought he ran through a lot more arm tackles this year compared to last.

Several things percolate this AM.

How inept/entitled do you have to be to slit two coaches throats, and then think that others will jump in your boat?

If you're Stoops, how do you regain trust after you middle fingered your team right after a big win? How can you look recruits in the eye and say, i'll be here FOREVER, with one leg out the door?

It occurs, that not since the previous UTAD have I seen such a sideways wonderment of a train wreck coming down the tracks. For all if its assgrabbing amazingness, TAMU, and further, Kentucky can take every inch that it deserves of mediocrity down its flaming hatch.

So glad where we are. Anyone doubting Heup, Danny White (with exception of Donde), ... Mark Stoops aka the Lesser Stoops aka Butch Jones' lesbian sister aka the human embodiment of mediocrity, 'The Mediacrator', deserves it all.
