It’s an odd fit since his recruiting base is Ohio and the Midwest, but that didn’t stop LSU from bringing in Brian Kelly.

Supposedly they want to keep their entire defensive staff. It will be interesting to see who he gets as an OC, but if I’m an Aggie, I’m underwhelmed by this hire.
Elko would have been a better hire IMO.

Honestly, not a bad hire for A&M. He’s definitely a better coach than Fisher, and if he can keep a good amount of those Texas kids home, he will win 9-10 games a year.

People hate him because he’s basically a meme lol.

Missed the 2nd half. Guess we are going to roll into 24’ with no QB on the roster that has any meaningful snaps.
Need someone to compete with Nico for sure.

Everyone saying that no QB will want to come here because of Nico doesn’t make sense.

Go recruit a transfer like any other QB, no choice is made, give them a NIL package. Roll into next season with Nico as starter, if he isn’t ready then you have a really good veteran transfer to get you to 8-4 or 9-3 instead of 6-6, 7-5 or worse if Nico gets hurt.

For me, next season is about winning 8 games. If you lose Nico to injury or isn’t ready, you aren’t winning 8 games with that schedule.

All this while Merklinger can actually redshirt. That following season you’d have:
- Nico (R. Soph)
- Merklinger (R. Fr.)
- Mac (Fr.)
3 capable QBs and no need to worry about a transfer.

Damn. Who do I cheer for in the UF/FSU game? Gators lose, they don't make a bowl. FSU loses, and that more than likely eliminates the ACC from the playoffs. I hate the gators, but the ACC is so weak, they don't deserve to make the playoffs. It's a conundrum.
Any game that has UF and not Georgia or Bama is a no brainer on who to cheer for
