That’s kind of ****ed. He wasn’t great but I hate the modern world of college football where you can tell a senior to kick rocks for his last bowl game when he’s obviously not a first round draft prospect.

I am assuming Joe does not have a Sr. Bowl invite. It's a non NY6 bowl game, a think CJH leaves it up to Joe to play or not.

you to have standards to base a defense on….. what stats would you prefer to judge it by? Also, who would you want us to hire that is realistic? I’m not 100% against making changes but they should be based on more than just feelings.

IMO, at the end of the day we are not recruiting difference makers. People ask where the young kids are, but none of them are good enough to take a spot.

I think that changes with Beasley next year. Kid is a player and will be our best corner day 1.

I hope so. We need Boo in tma, he is a game changer.

If we ever want to break into the final four, we have to master 3s. That's the way basketball works today. It's disappointing that we had such cold spells but I still think Knecht is very raw. This isn't a bad start to the season at all if we can build on it.

Call me crazy but he appeared maybe a bit timid or even intimidated vs Purdue and KU. Seemed hesitant to play his game and disappeared for long periods.

A full SEC slate will break him of that real quick.

Better competition and athletes ...than the Big Sky or whatever conference he played in....

Knecht is going to be a pro definitely...but some games he will not be best player on the floor....yesterday Vescovi showed up....ZZ is ZZ he will dazzle you then will turn ball over 3 times in a row ....Barnes jumps him continuously over these mishaps....

Early observation Gainey hadn't seen a shot he doesn't like!!!

Kansas and Purdue, combined, shot 70 free throws. 70! That in itself is mindblowing; but, UT's total was 38. Two-game average of 35 to 19.

Not complicated.

We shot 36 more 3s than those 2 teams. You don't draw fouls shooting 3s...

Meanwhile they were both playing paint ball all day with the 2 best bigs in the game.
