Well since your argument is that the defense is on the field too long then I'd say forcing punts would help alleviate that, no?

Look, I get it. You think the guys done great. I know otherwise. I'll be prove correct as usual. And, if he's her next year, I will be insufferable. So if you are not prepared for it, my suggestion is you place me on ignore. Cause I will not refrain from in-game criticism like I have this year.
And you will be glad to be right about this? If you are and we lose, happy days for u. That sucks.

My point was you can't compare ppg from year to year. Last years team
S we played had better offenses. Sorry if you don't get it.
you to have standards to base a defense on….. what stats would you prefer to judge it by? Also, who would you want us to hire that is realistic? I’m not 100% against making changes but they should be based on more than just feelings.

Pearl didn't protect our best interests.
An employee will try to protect HIS best interests whether it is right decision or not. Let’s take Pearl out of the equation.

If Heup breaks some silly rule… It use to be against the rules to give recruits cream cheese with their bagel. If the NCAA comes on campus trying to nail Heup for giving out cream cheese to all of our recruits… It is DW job to protect Heup and in turn protect Tennessee at the same time.

The NCAA came sniffing around a lot during the 90’s but we had a very strong AD in Dickey at the time so nothing came of it.

It’s no different than what i do at my building when State comes in for an investigation. Nothing would have happened to Pearl if he coached at Bama, Auburn, or any of the programs with strong ADs.

I think the plan is to start Joe against Vandy, try to get Nico in to finish the game, and then encourage Joe to opt-out for the bowl.

Apparently, we have transfer prospects eager to see Nico play. AP strongly hinted that on the radio today.
That’s kind of ****ed. He wasn’t great but I hate the modern world of college football where you can tell a senior to kick rocks for his last bowl game when he’s obviously not a first round draft prospect.

Nothing would have happened to Pearl if he hadn't turned a minor violation into a major one. Do you not believe individuals are responsible for their actions? Pearl is not a victim. You are attempting to make him one.

No it hasn’t. The teams we played this year were far worse than last year. And depth issues is an excuse. It’s never been easier to fix depth and flip a roster until now. They should have crushed the portal like FSU and others to fix holes but they didn’t.
Not really saying that I disagree, but both of our portal OTs were out against uga. It’s tough to develop a VFL attitude in a mercenary portal player. They transfer to showcase their own talent. I’m not sure that I am all in on the portal being a savior. Just my opinion.

It’s not effed at all. These athletes want to be paid, so this comes with the territory. Can’t have your cake and eat it too

Nothing I have said has anything at all to do with Pearl, personally… It has to do with our previous administrations lack of ability to do their job. It is why they hired Dooley…. couldn’t do a simple background check on Donnie Tyndall…. tried to hire Greg Schiano…. It is why we were almost near the bottom in the majority of all of our programs during those years.
