bama wins then they go to the playoffs. Ohio state , FSU, and Washington.

No room for uga. I am okay with that scenario as long as bama loses the playoff game. 😈
Agreed but I think Oregon will have something to say about that. They’re the best overall team in the PAC-12 imo. Lost on the road to Washington by missing a chip shot field goal. Think they beat them in the PAC-12 title game.

Yeah, everyone should contribute what they can, but I question if we have enough, or any true mega donors involved. It just feels like we need more big money donors involved. Or if they are involved, it's not heavily publicized.

But it's also easier to believe we got outbid than it is to accept we might have just gotten out-recruited.
Spyre doesnt do a good enough job of marketing itself, imo. Again, love Spyre - just think they could widen the marketing budget incrementally. Hell, do a spot sponsored by X, for Y athlete on WIVK.

When you ask someone to name a pirate, Blackbeard will most likely come up. He is probably one of the most notorious and famous pirates in popular imagination. From his death on 22nd November 1718, his imagery and actions would be passed down through the decades, and has transformed the popular imagination of pirates in the present day.

Blackbeard was killed during a clash with a British naval force off of the coast of North Carolina, USA. Lieutenant Robert Maynard, Blackbeard's killer, then decapitated his body and displayed it at the front of his ship. Maynard later went on to write a report of the events that stated the events of his death:

"…I boarded his Sloop, and had 20 Men kill'd and wounded. Immediately thereupon, he enter'd me with 'o Men; but I2 stout Men I left there, fought like Heroes, Sword in Hand, and they kill'd every one of them that enter'd, without the loss of one Man on their Side, but they were miserably cut and mangled. In the whole, I had eight Men killed, and i8 wounded. We kill'd 12, besides Blackbeard, who fell with five Shot in him, and 20 dismal Cuts in several Parts of his Body… I have cut Blackbeard's Head off, which I have put on my Bowspright, in order to carry it to Virgina."

Washington
Michigan goes OSU doesn't beat them this week
FSU if they don't lose to Louisville which is possible without Jordan Travis
Texas goes over Alabama

ZERO SEC teams

If Washington loses to Oregon in the PAC-12 title game, Oregon is in. Everything else you stated is inferred in my post.

There’s a good chance FSU loses to Louisville without Travis.

OSU/Mich
Washington/Oregon
Texas if they win out
FSU if they win out (even still the committee could say they aren’t one of the best 4 without Travis. They do and will consider that)

Obviously this theory is only if UGA loses. Bama has the atheletes and talent to go toe to toe with them. Milroe’s performance will determine whether they win or lose.

It might just be BVS, but I feel like we're about to get kicked in the nuts in recruiting these next few weeks. From Kiffin to Dooley to Butch to Peanuthead..... I think we all have varying levels of PTSD. Mine is flaring atm. Really hope I'm wrong. I'll try not to panic when Mikell picks UGA on Thanksgiving. Seaton is the most important one. Land him and keep the class we have, then hit the portal while convincing key players to use their COVID year. Please let it happen.

Can’t lose like we did to Mizzou/UGA and expect good things in recruiting. Have to at least be competitive.

Last year we were a good team but this year shows we’re not a good program yet. Good programs don’t get their doors blown off like we did. Look at Penn St….they’re a good program- not great. They aren’t in OSU or Michigan’s league but they don’t get embarrassed by them either. Their next step is to start beating one or both of those teams.

Our next step is to stop getting embarrassed vs our OSU/Mich (UGA/Bama). When that happens there will be less recruiting disappointments.

Yeah and until we have a great defense, we’ll need our QB to be the equalizer like it was last year. Even still, the defense will need to be good enough.

If Nico plays extremely well next season...and we feature the WR , big time game changers will come to play with him...both sides of the ball, not just offense....

Why do you think Wingo went to Texas, yes NIL was a factor but playing with Arch was as well...Nico and Merklinger need to have this effect on the recruits ....

When people scream Arch hasn't played yet, you're correct...but the Manning name has more allure..😏😏😏

Yup. Defense is what ensures you don’t get blown out. Our defense isn’t even close to good enough. Entire back 7 is embarrassing. Need better DT’s as well.

About that last statement, we've been led to believe that it's not from an inability to match offers, but the decision simply not to. Example, FM last year. Miami threw a huge amount at him. Word was we didn't think he was worth that much and money was better spent elsewhere. Not that we couldn't match it, but that we didn't match it. So the message being put out is that we're more frugal by choice, not lack of funds.

Change frugal to selective and you are spot on.

I don’t think Penn State would be my go to. They just play a soft a** Big 10 sched every year. Got stomped by Michigan last year. Lost to an Arkansas team two years ago that was pretty similar to us this year. Got beat by a pretty average Iowa team a couple years ago. Nearly lost to a Bryan Harsin Auburn team a couple years ago. Scrolling through their sched the last three years, I don’t see a single impressive win. I see a team that beats who it’s supposed to, and loses to the 2-3 good teams it plays. Way easier to manage when you don’t play a murderer’s row of top 10 teams every October.

"Orpheus and Eurydice" is a Greek myth in which a bereaved musician named Orpheus travels to the underworld in hopes of reviving his recently deceased wife, Eurydice. Animated in the style of black figure pottery.

James Franklin is 4-17 against OSU and Michigan. Several years ago, Michigan cannot be compared to Bama or UGA.
