I think Gaston Moore would have out performed Joe.Nico is already a way better QB than Milton and it’s coaching malpractice and a slap to fans faces continuing to play Milton when he has played awful. Any boos he gets or loud chants for Nico are on him. You can’t be blown out two weeks in a row and not make any changes.
That’s on him.
Put this on thread of FF and wanted to share with where I do hang out. I am over it. If we would just stand up to this crap then I would feel like we care about more than money. I have never seen such bias officiating in my life. It can not be just incompetence. It is a good show but we are there for football entertainment instead of just general. We do not win last night regardless. However, I pay good money to go. If that face mask is called and we had that interception, it would have been an entertaining competitive game that would have been fun to watch. They took that away from us. That is why I will am thinking of just renewing some of my less expensive tickets and not mine on the West side 50. I can go if I want to and will not feel like I have to go because of the money I have already paid. They raise the cost over 33 percent for next year and did it at the beginning of the year. I think they will regret taking advantage of us for doing that AND not standing up to the powers that be when it come to the safety of these kids and protecting the integrity of the product for their fans and boosters.
Maybe at this point they have lost faith, but it is a little late in the season to change horses now. We are who we are and we will cross the finish line on the horse we started out on. Next year we hopefully have a better horse to ride that can process quicker and use the tempo advantage more like HH.Yeah the team looked real happy with Joe the last couple of lweeks. I’m sure switching to a five star QB would make them upset. And not losing by double digits would really suck.
That is why anyone even considering Heupel on a hot seat right now needs to be bound, gagged, and locked in the closet in the rarely if ever used guest room. We might make some assistant coaching changes, but we need stability ac the HC and Coordinator positions to make this rebuild happen on a reasonable timeline.People seem to act like the immediate, linear success model that Saban created is the norm when it's the complete and udder outlier.
Dabo stumbled and fumbled for years. Kirby had a great Y2, like Heup (and starting out miles ahead) and then stumbled the next 3 seasons before putting it together in Y6. It took Fulmer 6.5 years to put it together.
He has been injury prone so far in his career. I would bet he needs to show he can be healthy as the #1 for a season. His injury this year was a freak one, but I'll bet he comes back.I wouldn't bank on Bru returning ...he can make around 800,000 a year as a 4th round draft pick...what did he make in NIL money ???.
I don't consider it overpaying when others are willing to pay the same thing. The value of something is determined by what someone is willing to pay. With the whole NIL thing still being relatively new, "overpaying" is a subjective term. The rates are still being set. Some positions will be more valuable than others. I do think the staff and Spyre will have to be more flexible, especially in areas of need.
Imagine thinking ANY team would be very successful with the injury issues we have had. That is why anyone even considering Heupel on a hot seat right now needs to be bound, gagged, and locked in the closet in the rarely if ever used guest room. We might make some assistant coaching changes, but we need stability ac the HC and Coordinator positions to make this rebuild happen on a reasonable timeline.
Not really. Joe, while he's a great guy, he's not a qb. Never has been, never will be. Unless you judge a qb by his ability to throw it 100 yards. It's similar to golf. You never see long drive champions make it on tour. There's more to playing qb than throwing it over the mountain just like in golf there's more than just hitting long drives. Joe's not a dumb guy. He's got more degrees than many here. Having said that, he lacks the qb thinking needed to play qb at a high level.Lol the Joe derangement syndrome knows no bounds
Happy Gilmore did pretty good. . .Not really. Joe, while he's a great guy, he's not a qb. Never has been, never will be. Unless you judge a qb by his ability to throw it 100 yards. Gaston Moore has been with Heup for a long time including his time at CFU. While he may not have Joe's physical talent, I would think he'd know that offense very well. Impossible to prove but I suspect he'd have better numbers than Joe.
My granddad, uncle, and dad were in the car business together. My dad went to an auction to purchase cars. I think my dad bought one car that day. When he got back my granddad ask him if he bought anything. Dad told him he'd bought one. My granddad immediately said he'd paid too much. Dad said, how'd you know that? You don't know what I paid. My granddad said, you paid more than anyone else didn't you? You paid too much.Well ever what the gave Thornton ...we damn well overpaid..lol
