Let's step away from the ledge. Injuries piled up. I watched the game over again.......I know glutton for punishment. The line was better than I thought. The wr just aren't there yet. Very disappointing. Milton for all his great talent is very limited by lack of touch and reads. TE aren't great but serviceable.

The defense is ok, but we are so depleted.

Hatred for conference teams should be in this order....

1a. Alabama
1b. Florida

Blah
Blah
Blah

Missouri
1. Alabama
2. Alabama
3. Alabama
4. Alabama
5. Alabama

Hate everyone else as much as I can muster up, after hating 1-5 so much. UGA has shot up with a bullet though, the last few years. I understand that winning makes arrogant a**holes of us all; but, UGA...congratulations fcksticks, you're the bastard child of Bama and the NY Yankees, with the Dallas Cowboys watching from the corner, waiting to tag in.

Let's see

Our entire starting offensive line plus Dayne and Crawford have been hurt. Bru and Thornton. Joe's been banged up, Jabari, Bishop, Pili, Simmons, Walker, Hadden, Jourdan Thomas, Slaughter, Charles, Carter, Harrison....anybody else? No matter who is quarterbacking its hard to win with that. And....really unfortunate officiating. Some pretty bad calls by Heup. Questionable defensive gameplans. It really was a group effort...

We aren’t panicking the seasons over. The time to panic was after Florida. Or after second half bama. Or Missouri. It’s just over now and Nico will either be great or he won’t. This year he rode with Milton and we paid the price.
Oh there are plenty that are in full panic mode.
And the Nico will be great or he won’t,
That’s kind of a panic statement.
People acting like he wins the Hiesman next year or he’s a failure.
He could be great, or well above average or Just really good.
Any of the above would be equal to or above anything we’ve had in 20 years with the exception of last year.

Someone should pull 12 posts, 6 from here and 6 from the FF, and post them without the posters' names, and we'll see who can identify the forum.
That’s not fair. There are some good post in the FF. You just have to sort through the other 90% to get to them.

Just move on to Vanderbilt, flush this loss get a win vs Vanderbilt...get Nico ready for the Bowl game and look at what's coming next season....a few major changes may be made in off-season....by roster changes and eventually coaching changes .....major decisions coming for CJH....do I think he should be on hot seat HELL NO..but when your home stadium of fans start booing your offense as it trots off field it's not a good sign...

Where are we on Kelsey Pope? I know losing Tillman and Hyatt hurt, but the WR unit hurt this offense. Keyton absolutely regressed.
They have zero confidence in their QB to actually get them the ball. You can see it in their body language.

Same things were said the first time Milton was starting QB. Then Hooker replaces him and the offense started to click and the receivers were good.

I bet there will be some staff readjusting and reassessment.. that’s what I would be doing..

Receivers are still running open. They had a UGA defender beat deep 4-5 times just from what I saw and Joe either made a poor throw or didn't see them. That didn't even happen with Hyatt and Tillman last year against UGA. I don't see a big problem with them other than needing more depth. This offense has been hindered by Joe. They've had to scale it way down to what he can handle. On top of that, he still doesn't see the field well. If Nico is the type of player we hope he is, and the guys on the team seem to think he is, then this offense takes a huge leap forward next season.

I can’t wait until the months leading up to thr draft where nfl teams over analyze everything and ignore film and just see Milton as a 6’5” 240lb monster who can throw 90 yards and someone spends a second round pick on him.

A very Jerry Jonesish move.

Sorry but Stephen Jones runs draft room now not Jerry....he told his dad they weren't drafting Manziel plus Dallas has their QB of future Trey Lance...

I’m not sure what people expected. Maybe 9-3. Missouri was a disappointment. This was a down SEC? No different than any other year.

Definitely down vs what we faced last year. USCe and UF may not make bowls like last year. UK about the same as 2022. Missouri better but still no excuse for what we saw. A&M just fired their coach. Alabama even took a step back and we had a chance to beat them.

The coaches did not plan on redshirting Nico. There was no promise made as a condition of his recruitment. They planned to get him game experience throughout the season, but things did not go as planned. Opportunities to play him were missed, and now that the season is almost over, the risk-reward scenario has changed. He'll get a RS because that's how the season unfolded. Nobody's thrilled about how the QB situation or the offense played out this year.

What I would say to that then is this year is squarely on the coaching staff for not having a viable plan B instead of continuing to do the same thing over and over (I.e., playing Milton) and expecting a different result when it was very clear Milton is not a QB1. Complete insanity.

I think Heupel deserves to see the true colors of the fanbase with his stubbornness and how this season has played out.
