I mean joe milton this, joe milton that

You have to acknowledge a a WR core of Squirrel, Keyton, Nimrod and Webb is pretty abysmal right?

One of the least talented groups of WR's we have ever had to start.

Squirrel is the only one worth a damn out of that group.
Pickens & Harper wouldn’t fix what Joe Milton’s got.

Watching Trash Florida play against Misery, and their backup QB making plays. just tells me the issue is our pedestrian QB.
Joe may be a great guy but it is obvious that the offense has been limited this year. Part of that has been the patchwork OL we have had to trot out. Part of it is inexperience at WR. But a BIG chunk is Joe. He doesn't process fast enough and limits what we can do.

Even tho Brown wasn’t even a top 1500 recruit in the country? Yet theyre moving moving the ball up and down the field and they’re calling plays that work for him

It’s not going 8-4. It’s how we’re going 8-4.

How does that matter if it’s not the fact we go 8-4? We have eyes to see that we need a change at a couple of positions that we will get next year. I really don’t think losing to Mizzou by 10 instead of 29 and to Bama by 10 instead of 14 changes much at all.

I would have liked for today’s game to be closer, but we had opportunities.

Patchwork O-Line, Multiple injuries in secondary/linebacker, Multiple injuries at Wideout. Having to replace a Hyatt & Tillman, and a Top 10 pick in Darnell Wright.

There just isn't much depth there.
S&T thing or do you think luck of the draw year? Most of us thought this would be a down year after last year, I have thoughts that we are having to play younger players and that our older players are getting hurt. What is different from last year besides we over achieved, what a wonderful year it was.

I feel like I’m reading a Bama/UGA board. The unearned entitlement is pathetic. It’s like people have forgotten the past decade.

It’s in the details man. Most people didn’t expect 11 or 12 wins like Alabama or UGA. However, 8 wins in a down SEC scoring only 19 ppg in SEC play is underachieving. I think Heupel can be a great coach for us, but there’s no doubt we’ve taken a step back this year and performed below potential.

We hired a guy who turned a 13-0 program into a 6-4 program in three seasons because we were desperate and his former boss couldn't convince anyone else to come here. We caught lighting in a bottle with Hendon, a QB our own head coach chose not to start over Joe in 2022. Last year was more likely than not the high water mark of the CJH era and we're stuck with this guy for another five or six seasons because of his contract. Get ready to be good again in 2031ish...maybe.
Once again, 2020 covid BS season was a wash.

I know we keep saying portal, portal, portal. But, what about NIL deals to keep the following players if their draft grades aren't high:

Big O
Barron
Campbell
Mays
Spraggins

These guys, plus a good portal haul might be more realistic than total dependence on the portal to add 10 players that can plug and play?
Yes. Also,

Portal portal portal
