Next year wont be better, lets face it. We are losing 4/5 starters on the OL, losing our TE’s, one, possibly 2 WR’s depending on Bru. Not to mention losing most members of the secondary, DL, and Beasley. It is not going to get better nexf year
It will be fine. We have the best young talent in the secondary we’ve had in a while. 5 star QB. Dynamic RB. Bru has to come back with Squirrel, Nimrod, and Matthews. Ethan Davis at TE. Our pass rush will be good.

So Hooker wasn't an elite QB talent last year? You might want to tell the rest of the country and the Detroit Lions (who are still pretty high on him despite the injury) about your theory of average QB play from him last year.

I'm starting to think you utilize the same sized bus Milton does.
RG III
Nick Florence
Bryce Petty
Seth Russell

You dont need an Elite QB to be good in this offense,

Yea, leaving a lot of the younger guys on the bench doesn't help with game experience. I hope we get some recruits, but that portal will get you on the fast track. The conference is gonna get a lot stronger too.

That secondary is trash. I'll be glad to see a lot of them go.

It’s honestly too bad next week isn’t a road game in Neyland West. Maybe we’d see Nico start in the final game that way, but the Senior Day excuse is built in now and he won’t see the field.

QB - Nico or Transfer
RB - Small/Sampson, Seldon
WR - Bru, Nimrod, Matthews, Squirrel, Staley, Transfer
TE - Davis and Transfer
OL - 5 Transfers

DL - Big Omari to come back, Hobbs, West, 2 Transfers
Edge - Don’t care, this position is fine
Secondary - all transfers

Need all the transfers in the trenches

The only redeeming merit of being openly cheated by SEC crews all year long is that I had pretty much checked out emotionally before last week's game. Two weeks in a row I just felt numb. I sometimes wonder if it affected the players: they knew what was going on better than we did (they experienced it and watched film), and we knew. I just hope this illegal punishment was only for one year.

He won't start on Senior Day. But if we take care of business, I bet he plays in the second half.

Since the end of last year, 2025 has been the season where we should be able to make a run at a national championship. This season was always going to be headline by a bunch of older guys, very few of whom were all conference caliber players. Next year is going to be headline by younger guys and new faces. 2025 will be the year where we should have experience and quality depth across the board.

I have absolutely zero faith in this offense to smack Vandy and put the game away by halftime. Not sure why anyone would. We’ve looked putrid on that side of the hall lately.

It’s all going to hinge on the running game. If we establish a strong running game, then things will go fine. With a strong running game, Joe tends to play okay as long as the competition isn’t particularly good. If the running game isn’t working, though…

Patchwork O-Line, Multiple injuries in secondary/linebacker, Multiple injuries at Wideout. Having to replace a Hyatt & Tillman, and a Top 10 pick in Darnell Wright.

There just isn't much depth there.

Football has and will always come down to one person.

The QB.

Not the head coach. Not the depth of your OL or DL. Not the defensive coordinator. The QB.

If you have a DUDE at QB and the rest of your team knows it then you can win a lot of football games.

This year our QB doesn’t have two rocks to rattle around up there and the rest of the team knows it. We won’t have to worry about that going forward.
That’s just not true anymore
