The Atlanta Braves

Also Hubbs insinuated that concerns of Halzle aren’t necessarily unfounded. Said that they might be missing Golesh’s eyes right now
I said this in the RF, but I believe that's part of the problem. Golesh was able to recognize coverages, subs, down and distance, mismatches and relay those to Heupel quickly, Halzle doesn't have experience doing that yet and I think that's part of the check with me stuff we saw last week. The coaches aren't confident in what they're seeing.
I can't remember which one, but there was one timeout we took and as Joe got to Heupel, Heupel mouth that's on me. That tells me the coached were struggling to get the calls in just as much as the team was struggling.

I don't think Halz is calling plays - hell, I don't think Golesh really called plays, for that matter. I think Golesh was in Heupel's ear a lot, telling him stuff that undoubtedly influenced the playcalling, but Heup is the ultimate trigger-puller.
