Stop. This is dumb. But no one who would have detox issues from limiting alcohol intake is listening to this anyway. Hell if you went from current guidelines to this proposal you wouldn't suffer from problems

It’s dumb until the functioning alcoholics are limited on alcohol. 2 beers a week does not stop DT’s.

Makes you wonder if that has a lot to do with the dem "college for everybody" but without common sense included ... like it's only good if the degree leads to something useful in a career that's financially viable. I saw an article yesterday that showed more graduates with degrees in psychology than in engineering. Business led the way - obviously everybody wants to be a chief which means the indians have to come from somewhere ... maybe India.

Wonder why it was about alcohol in the first place and not illegal drugs. Could be most alcohol doesn't come from south of the border ... therefore, no condemnation of border security - just societal bashing. And "See, that powder found in the WH isn't one of the big issues."

how does DC plan to pay for anything anymore? we just going to be in a perpetual debt/inflation cycle? $1,7T when the economy is supposedly doing well and The interest is going to be a killer. This is real bad, but at some point the Feds will take a massive haircut.
