President Joe Biden - Kamala Harris Administration

Is America Under the Thumb of a Shadow President?

Those of us who have been paying attention since January of 2021 have all seen the ongoing deterioration of President Biden, and it's a matter of some concern for everyone, be they Left, Right, or center, that the man who supposedly sits at the levers of power in Washington is not all he should be. (I would argue that he's not even within shouting distance of where he should be.)

The Messenger's Douglas MacKinnon is of the opinion that Joe Biden, in fact, isn't the guy who's really in charge.

This administration is out to destroy any hope of energy independence we have. Just how stupid do they, check that. They know how stupid at least 81 million of us are and that's how they can get away with it. Banning LNG transport by rail under the guise of public safety while allowing transport by trucks all over the country is a sham. Since the admin won't allow pipelines, the most efficient, most environmentally friendly and safest method of transporting LNG then common sense tells us rail is the second best choice. The MSM should be calling them out on their idiocy.

Biden admin quietly reverses Trump-era rule, bans transporting fossil fuels by train

Yes I know the headline is misleading since the ban only applies to LNG.

I can tell you for a “FACT “ that banning anything under the guise of public safety while they ( the government / government contractors) move what they do , by rail and OTR is beyond laughable . Anyone that believes that “ for the good of the public “ crap needs to think about that .

This is the part that should concern everyone...

"This victory can, and must, go deeper," Matt Smith, a director with Food & Water Watch, said in a statement. "The Biden administration should take action to eliminate the threat of fracked gas bomb trains entirely, and it must do more to stop new fossil fuel projects across the country."

When environmental terrorists call a train car a "bomb" that means someone's already thought of ways of making one go boom.

And they'd probably be celebrated by this Admin.

“To see this in an economy with low unemployment is truly stunning. There’s never been anything like it,” Furman said. “A good and strong economy, with no new emergency spending — and yet a deficit like this. The fact that it is so big in one year makes you think it must be some weird freakish thing going on.”

From August 2022 to this July, the federal government spent roughly $6.7 trillion while bringing in roughly $4.5 trillion. That represents a total increase in spending of 16 percent relative to last year and a 7 percent decrease in revenue, according to the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget.

Something stinks in Denmark

He's almost surely just an extremist using hyperbole to try to sway the weak minded to his cause, kind of like a right to lifer calling early term abortions killing babies.
But it would be a good idea to keep an eye on him.

Just after 9am ET, Saudi Arabia said it would extend the voluntary cut of 1 million b/d of for another 3 months, from October until the end of December, well beyond the expectation of just 1 more month. Saudi press agency SPA notes that the voluntary cut decision will be reviewed monthly to consider deepening the cut or increasing production. The extension of cuts is meant to reinforce the precautionary efforts made by OPEC countries with the aim of supporting the stability of the oil market. The Saudi announcement came a shock to market as 20 of 25 traders and analysts surveyed by Bloomberg last week had predicted the additional cutback would be continued for just one additional month.

And then, literally seconds after the Saudi decision, Russian deputy PM Novak said Russia would also extend its reduction of oil exports until the end of the year, reducing its oil output by 300kb/d in voluntary cuts until December 2023.

Your Tax Dollars at Work: Government Invests $22 Million in Cyber Underwear Called ‘SMART ePANTS’

The U.S. federal government has allocated at least $22 million for the development of “smart” clothing capable of surveillance and data collection. The largest allocation of this funding is a project called SMART ePants, which will design underwear and other clothing items capable of spying on their surroundings.

The Intercept reports that in a move that has both intrigued tech enthusiasts and alarmed privacy advocates, the U.S. federal government has invested $22 million in the development of SMART ePANTS, which stands for “Smart Electrically Powered and Networked Textile Systems.” Managed by the Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity (IARPA), the intelligence counterpart to the more widely-known Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), this initiative aims to create wearable technology that can record audio, video, and geolocation data. The garments under development include everyday clothing items such as shirts, pants, socks, and underwear, all designed to be washable for everyday use.
