QB Dekkers accused of betting on Iowa St. games
This is a big deal. 41 kids between the 2 schools busted gambling on college sports...permanent loss of eligibility. Hope our guys are smarter than this...
We'll see more of this.

Welp, received my separation date last week - May 1, 2024. Pretty much knew it was coming. Biggest problem is I'll only be 54, 2.5 months at that point (with 25 years service) when you need to be 55+ with 10+ years of service to be eligible for retiree medical benefits.
Fast forward to today where I just received confirmation I will be eligible for the benefit. Huge deal for me. Maybe now I can get a bit more sleep.
What will two distinguished urbanites like yourselves do to enjoy your golden years?
Range Rovers are a status symbol….. they tell everyone you can afford to buy one AND pay to fix it when it breaks downIf i was buying a car i needed to run reliably for 4 years followed by another 6 or so for HS and college....it would have to be a Honda. If you get a Honda and it does NOT run 200k miles plus without any major issues then you have terrible luck/maintenance and are the statistical outlier. Some say Toyotas are the same, but the 2 i have owned...a Celica and a Sequoia...weren't nearly as reliable as my Hondas...Civic coupes x2, Passport and Pilot. In fairness, the Passport was a rebadged Isuzu Rodeo which Honda used while developing their 1st full size SUV...the Pilot. It was still reliable relatively speaking, I did have to replace the starter, water pump, and fuel pump/in tank filter...which is far more work than i put in the other 3 Hondas. If i could afford it, I would own all Honda engines/products from my lawnmower to boat motors to generators to motorcycles. They make the best small engines on Earth, and just about everything else they make is the standard for its class/type. The Civic and Accord are perennial "Car and Driver 10 best" and the Odyssey is widely considered the best minivan that money can buy. They are never really flashy...just thoughtfully engineered quality vehicles with extreme longevity.
I cannot speak about luxury vehicles from Europe or Japan..never been willing to make those huge payments. For "regular" cars though its Honda hands down with Subaru probably 2nd due to their reliability, safety, and great resale value
Well since you asked, I recommend you rent a home in southern middle TN from a really great Landlord. Then, travel A LOT so you're never home and put minimal wear and tear on your rented house.Definitely travel, domestic and international. Need to figure out where to establish a home base.
Any suggestions on what we should do?

Start in the "A" countries and finish in Zimbabwe. Avoid any dangerous areas. Voila.
Any money leftover after yall pass, should be bequeathed to your amazing landlord.
