The (many) indictments of Donald Trump

LOL, your personal insults aside - I feel sorry for your barber, what with the tin foil wrapped so tightly around your head.

Just think, you were a trumper before being a trumper was "cool" - hating federal law enforcement must have made you a forward thinker with your boomer friends.

I'm sincerely hoping that when you of the new elite non boomer generation reach our age that you'll come back to VN and tell us all about how you got the elected politicians to do your bidding. I can't wait until the newer generations are telling you how your generation screwed it all up. What you don't seem to get is that all of us elect the politicians who make policy, and yet virtually none of us influences anything whatsoever. Most people won't even agree that an outsider is "qualified" to be president, so the choices are the same old clowns stopping up congress. They set policy, we don't; they are continually reelected, and we almost never fail to put them out regardless of record. When I speak of "we" that's the electorate, not generally you or me; and overall our opinions and our efforts are so diluted by the electorate, they mean nothing. But again I'd love to hear your views on how your generation, when all is said and done, was any different from those who went before.

DA called me a boomer and I'd bet that he and I aren't more than 4-5 years apart in age. He's just a troll.

I agree your statement is dumb. Thanks for the warning at the beginning of your comment
You are so clever...give yourself a bone....your original statement that States can handle it "went from dumb to Stupid." You are not wise enough to figure out how much Federal $$$$ the govt allocates to the States. Again, one hurricane would bankrupt a state without Federal $$$$$ and support.

Trump does not deserve to be considered for the WH ever again given his repeated misconduct and lies about it, regardless of whether he is actually convicted. What's sad is that the MAGA base of the GOP is enabling him by refusing to ever hold him to account. The more he blatantly lies, the more you seem to embrace him.

Really in my case I find him more appealing the more you persecute him. I want to see him burn your house down.

What gives you the idea she doesn't want it or wouldn't accept the nomination?

I'll answer that...

If she was Veep, Biden would be forced out in a month. Of course she'd take it, but he won't want it...

If he's even cognitive enough to understand.

I doubt she would accept the VP nomination. But once Joe steps aside after the primaries there is no way in hell she's declining the Dem nomination for president.

The DNC does have a habit of ignoring primaries and playing kingmaker. In this case king is appropriate for Mike.

You are aware that Trump has been getting massive rules changes for the Repub primary? He and DeSantis are in a fight right now over the California rules. Trying to fix the primaries (which he is going to win anyway).

And as someone who is getting up in years I know that in my lifetime what you accuse the Dems of didn't happen. If anyone could have fixed the nomination it would have been LBJ and he lost to JFK.

So, nice try.

Disagree.

People just didn't like Hillary. She didn't offer any substantial messages, no good policies and she just wasn't... likeable.

People didn't want her because she just wasn't going to offer them anything different. It has nothing to do with a criminal case (we aren't going down that rabbit hole) and more to do with how badly she ran that campaign.

She was firmly in command until Comey pulled the rug out from under her.

What didn't happen? Dems changing primary rules to help the incumbent or favored candidate?

Lulz at the "but, but, but Trump!" move.

Is it undermining those institutions if it exposes years of corruption. And your J6 reference which is now proven to be full of those same pillars of American justice (FBI) provoking those to action...your so deep into your own cult you can't articulate anything but your personal hatred...so sad and no longer worth engaging with.

Are you implying that the FBI and BLM were agent provocateurs on 1/6?

I've always been fond of that deflection.

She was in "command" all the way to election day...

Nobody saw what was coming.

The exit polls were within the margin of error at the end.

It's a common fallacy that she was polling in landslide numbers on election day as many of the MAGA trumpers would have us all believe.

Wasn't that the claim, FBI and BLM folks? - it was widely reported on OAN and Newsmax that that's who was causing all the problems. The trump supporters were just there looking for fridge magnets in the Capital gift shop.

It's the nature of populist movements from either side of the spectrum. You have a group of people who have not participated in the economic boom of the last 28 years, if anything it has destroyed their livelihoods in what seems random from their perspective.

I am absolutely stunned when I sit back and look at the wealth that has been created since 1992. But it has created disparities not seen in American history. Sure there the robber barons of the 19th century, but this has been mind-blowing.

If you're someone left behind in all of this, it makes sense that you would want deep and radical changes and you don't care if the changes are positive or negative, they just want something different. Enter Trump.

And then there are the people who just hate other people whether it's because they're black, or they're Hispanic, or they're asian, or disabled, or they want to immigrate to the US, whatever makes them different. Trump is perfect for them not because he's a bigot but he is willing to channel their bigotry.
And yet the wealth gap narrowed under Trump
