Hard to believe that an Indian descendant would be President.
Being a politician is an art form and a profession that a so call Successful businessman thinks he has the skill set to run the country.
Bottom line they simply cannot do the job of Running the Country like they would a business. Sounds like they could but they can't. Trump is an example that he was good in some areas but failed miserably in others. Several good ideas but his business model will be ripped apart.
Christians are not going to back a candidate who they believe is a Hindu. He could sit on the front Pew of a Southern Baptist pew every Sunday and still not win the vote.
What's more, put Ramaswamy in as the nominee and you will lose over half of the Trump base. The Republicans have no other candidate to run but Trump.
Right now it sounds good but it is suppose to sound good.
The one thing about a Politician is that he will tell you what you want to hear to get your vote and will do what he wants to do when he gets in office.

This is one of your dumber posts. A businessman can be an effective president saying otherwise is just stupid, Trump had no business being in the WH but to use him as an example of why no businessman doesn't have the skillset to be president is ridiculous.

Why would Ramaswamy lose the Trump supporters, he has an actual plan to do what Trump promised he would do and he appears to be smart enough to go into office prepared to get what he wants done, done.

No he can't because he has no idea how he must stay within the guidelines of the Constitution. Trump is an example of that. He ignored the DOD, the DOJ, and any other organization that bounded him to a set of laws and rules set forth in the Constitution. Trump ignored it because he thought he was God and felt he could just change it with a thought or stroke of a pen. He couldn't. Ramaswamy thinks he can remodel the Govt to fit a business model well he cannot. Some like you seem to think he can. Click your heels together and make a wish, Dorothy and see what happens.

As far as half of the Trump Supports, I just don't see the Proud Boy and other organizations of that nature getting out the Vote for Ramaswamy.

What evidence do you have that he has no idea how to stay within the guidelines of the constitution? How in the holy hell can you type that when almost daily we see career politicians demonstrate that they can't stay within the guidelines of the constitution? How many members of the Proud Boys and other similar organizations do you think there are? Come on, that is a miniscule percentage of voters. Not even enough to make a blip on the radar.

Ramaswamy isn't Trump.

I don't think all the Trump voters are dedicated Repubs, they are dedicated to Trump. It's why the Repub party elites are so ineffective at trying to influence the nomination. They can't get any traction because so much of MAGA is based on Trump himself. That's what happens when your party is the subject of progressive movements.

But promising them you'll be like Trump means nothing. If he's dedicated to Trump, then quit the race, or run a race that says I am the stand-by candidate in case Trump can't run. But saying vote for me over Trump, because I will do what he promised he would do, doesn't make sense as long as Trump is in race. In their minds why not just elect Trump.

And he will never drop out, even if convicted. Heck he's having the Repub Party and his PACs paying his legal fees. Why would he give that up?
