You must be kidding. Our NIL is the blueprint for most schools NIL. Our NIL structure was conceived by a UT grad that built a multi million dollar landscaping business and is now being hired by schools to help them with their NIL structure. UT’s NIL is structured for the long haul and I believe they know what they are doing.

If they really want somebody out of the portal and go hard after that player they get them most times. We lost a few but thats just part of it. The NIL here is very good and there are alot of big money people throwing money around that we dont know about.


But every team will miss out on players here and there. Also this staff has been super picky about who they pursue in the portal.

Wrong.

We lost Igbinosun who is a New Jersey kid to Ohio St.. that's going to happen. Wasn't a money issue. Cornelius we didn't like as much once we saw his body on campus - didn't pursue hard.

Miami paid an obscene amount to get Francis. It would've caused a ton of problems if we did anything similar. That was a money issue I guess but not our Spyre's fault

You for sure have to be picky not all players in the portal are great players. Lots of players in it move down in competition for playing time. Others have other issues, injuries problems at other schools etc. It’s not a full proof gold mine by no means. GBO

Not that it’s breaking news to some but if you’ve read enough of his pieces he’ll give you the answer one way or another by the way he words things. Just gotta know what to look for.

They are deep in it. I weighed in on it a little but earlier in another thread. Visit exceeded expectations for him and family. He loves the scheme at TN. Oregon is perceived leader and everyone’s safe bet going but nothing is done done . Only time will tell if TN did enough to pull this one off. Another coin flip deal right now.

Doesn’t necessarily have to be a 5 star. We just need to start landing some of our top DL targets since Nwaneri seems to be trending to Georgia and Miami has a lot of momentum for Franklin
