The Atlanta Braves

It is why I actually agree with (I believe it was) checkboards on moving the CWS around. The phrase “going to Omaha” is cool and definitely a legendary tradition in college baseball, but the landscape of what they just played vs the regular season might as well be a different sport.
How many balls were actually hurt by the wind hit by Tennessee? If anything LSU has at least a few more runs

I get your general point tho, just don’t think they hit it hard enough consistently to matter

Maybe they bring the fences in? There would have been a couple of HRs last night if the fences were just a little closer, even with that stiff breeze blowing in all night.

I'm surprised a sport that historically (and at times still today) is so offensively-oriented plays their feature event in a park that plays that big. Rosenblatt played even bigger. Not saying they should play in a matchbox, but should be something more similar to places they play during the regular season.

Not specific to Tennessee. Yes, last night LSU would have beat us by more somewhere else.

In general, the field is too big and the wind is ALWAYS blowing in. There were times last night where the outfielders were playing less than 300 ft. That’s absurd.

They already brought the fences in ha.

The perpetual 25mph wind is a bigger issue. At least at Wrigley it changes directions from day to day.

Hell, bring 'em in more then. Especially if the wind blows in the same direction all the time. I couldn't believe how it is all from the same direction, all the time.

If the goal is to get to Omaha and once you get there nothing else matters, then what are you so upset about?

I don't know for sure, but I have a feeling that any Tennessee loss will be, by definition, a game where we didn't play well. I don't think you'd ever state that we played our best game in a loss, so the situation you're saying you'd be OK with, in your world, never happens.
I'm just asking for them not to look like a little league team in the biggest game of the season. Ensley had a couple big moments and swing at some of the worst pitches of the night. Then throwing the ball around the infield like we did, dropping an easy 6 4 3 double play. The way we played, they were scared to death last night.

Fantastic...you got exactly that in the game they played 2 days ago. And in Super Games 2 and 3 against Southern, and in the Regional against Clemson.
