I'm not being able to let go of the fact that this was the most blatant seeding favoritism I've ever seen in any sport. There were 4 SEC teams alone that should have been ahead of them. I guess we have to view it as an opportunity to put a trouncing on them in OKC.
#2 lost to Grand Canyon and LibertyA true #5 seed would be undefeated with what they’ve been given, with or without Fouts. We’ve gone undefeated against much steeper competition and only trailed for one half of an inning against Indiana.
#2 lost to SDSU at home. Only thing that matters it taking care of your own business. Whoever wins today, doesn’t matter they’re the next game in OKC. Seedings are meaningless if you can’t take care your bracket.
And UCLA didn’t take care of business. Bias or not they are doing what needs to be done to push a game 3. I’d rather have Bama and the game audience in game 1…big stage to take out Fouts and set up a OU game. Facing Bama is good for us in regards to many areas of the game, SEC, recruiting and knocking them off when their best pitcher is there.UCLA had a tougher regional than Bama. They should’ve won but absolutely nobody can deny the Bama bias in the seedings and bracket matchups for them. It’s incredibly blatant.

Which is why a Bama TN matchup isn’t a bad thing for the audience both programs will bring. If we can’t beat a one legged Fouts we don’t need to worry about Bahl.It is not a Bama bias it is an Ncaa/ESPN wanting star power for ratings. It is a Fouts bias and they want her one legged pitching/cheerleading as a major storyline. It is that simple. Not to say it is right.
I'm sure it's just me but I think I've heard the name Fouts mentioned by the TV people/media 475 times the last few days. It seems every good thing in the world is solely due to Fouts. She is super human based on what the media is telling folks. I know she's good but good grief they take it overboard.
And agree....you play the team this time of year that has gotten there like we did.

Obviously, I am rooting for Alabama to lose in everything.
With that said, the Lady Vols could get the opportunity to face Bama twice in Oklahoma City. Let's face it...she is pitching on one leg, no stamina, duct taped together.
The Lady Vols will club her around like Hannah Montana.

Taryn fired/released this week from AZ but her legacy to the game is the pitching lane.Jax, I am STILL bitter after watching Arizona's Taryn Moffatt beat the Lady Vols for the 2007 championship, with the big story of the game being she was pitching with an injured (I think badly blistered) finger on her pitching hand. So I never, ever allow myself to assume an injury will guarantee success against an opponent after that. It was sickening to watch her shred our hitters. Ugh. After that season all I could think is I would almost rather get eliminated early than get that close and fold to an injured pitcher like that. Still makes me sick!!!
