Me, too. I am now wondering if the sold out game hyped on sosh was today's game, because I vaguely recall the brag that it was going to be on ABC, too.

Hoping to see no empty seats today!

Ashley was somewhat off all day which shows how great she is. Let’s hope Payton is dialed in.

By game time it was about as full as it was going to get. The watch party in theory is a good idea but there is not room for parking. I know the shuttle but even that doesn’t work well one way in one way out very land locked.

I think so, too. As far as softball is concerned, outside of Monica Abbott there's never been a player who made me feel more confident that good things are always possible when the ball or bat is in her hands than I feel with Kiki. She has "it," by the truckload.

What was that it set an awful tone. Of course it didn’t work it hasn’t all year that is not us. We win by the three run bomb. Watching games most of the day and night around our own no one is bunting. Yes they have slappers but we bunt most of the time to no real purpose the runners never leave third and it is just an easy out.

That way if they are needed in the game, they aren’t already spent. They probably don’t always show it on TV, but if you’ve been to any games, you notice how often they have people throwing in the bullpen that are obviously not going to get in the game.

They show it a lot. Tbh I always thought that's what they were doing but it's good to see it confirmed.

The other thing about us and small ball we have very little team speed. Take Kiki out and we have almost none. Play to our strengths and not to our weaknesses. We thought we were being cute and smart sending Kiki again when the pitcher was out of the circle. (Did it the last weekend and it worked) Texas was waiting on it thrown out by a mile and took the bat out of Puni’s hands. Have to be better don’t like Texas’s coach but he is not stupid.

Exactly. I have to wonder whose bright idea the small-ball silliness actually is. Karen's? Or Ralph's? If it's Ralph's input he needs to hush. No need for him to re-insert himself into the head coach position. I couldn't help noticing the program fared better this season.

Calling Pickens lost for the season is silly. She could start and give a couple innings. You would just need a quick hook when she got into trouble.

Agree completely: Stop trying to be cute and over-thinking situations and let them hit. Runs will win this game--the more, the better.

Completely agree if we hit like Oklahoma but we ONLY have 3 hitters hitting over .300 on the season. In the post season every run matters. With Ashley on the mound 1 run wins games. To complain about a good decision to try to score in that situation is crazy because that’s only 1 out in that inning and what about the other 2 outs in the inning. We still didn’t get a hit to score. It’s tough to have confidence in any hitter outside our first 3. If you want to sit around waiting on a home run good luck with that. Become a Georgia fan that’s what they did and how did that go for them. Karen keep winning and bunting to move runs into scoring positions and let’s see another squeeze today and put the pressure on the defense.
