I told ya so yesterday....even if ya'll thought it was an APRIL FOOLS Joke...

Let me explain something to you Orange Gatorage Drinkers...He can take Memphis to the Final 4, something he will never do here....SORRY, but UT is all about football, Memphis is all about basketball, he could be King in Memphis, he will never do enough to please the knoxville crowd....

What I am trying to say is that Pearl came here from a small school and created the status of the program himself in a very short time.

Now to an outside coach he very well could respect the job Pearl has done and believe that TN is a fine program but still not choose to come here. The reason I say that is because TN is still not perceived as a basketball school, you will now have to compete against Cal and Donovan, and your state's best prospects will likely be looked up by Bruce(assuming he went there).

So basically I am not saying I don't believe in our program and Pearl, it's just not as easy of a sell to a good basketball coach as it seems.

I, as a Memphis native and fan of the basketball program, do not want BP as my coach. Just saying.

all of you saying you wouldn't mind if pearl left are IGNORANT MORONS. absolutely ridiculous!!!! how can you say that some other coaches are better based on a few years. Pearl has one down year and everybody is jumping ship. you guys are seriously idiots.

I didn't say he was leaving...I said Memphis would come calling.....and I am correct. HE WILL NEVER GO TO A FINAL 4 at TENNESSEE!!!!!

I read the same over at mrsec. Apparently Hamilton is quoted as the statment will be issued today from the University.
