i didn't say it was open to the public. i just said you can show up, and provided you can look like you belong and know what you're doing, they won't hassle you.

i'd like to play there, but i'm not one to trespass to get a round in, so i don't know if that's true or not.

How is Baneberry for anyone that has played it? I see they have tee time specials of $22.41 per player which doesn't sound too bad. The course looks pretty nice from the website and I know that the bosses at the bank I used to work at would go to Baneberry for outings every once in awhile. My friend and I may do Baneberry instead of Millstone since its close to the same price and Baneberry is much closer to Greeneville than I thought. Per Google Maps its actually closer than Millstone.

Swear to God. Hit it 350 once. See... I broke my driver a while back and never got a new shaft so a 3 wood is all I got off the tee lol. Cleveland 17* I'm not a very big guy I just get some massive club head speed. It's been that way all my life. Can throw a baseball in the 90's...and looking at me you wouldn't believe it

17* is essentially a 4 wood. How long is the shaft?

I'll be happ to wager that the majority of 3 woods on the market today are 15 or below. I played a 4+ for years that was 16* with a 43.5 inch shaft.

Well boys unless I'm completely out of my mind and it's not a 17* then I need to invest in a 13 or 15 and get some more distance

Distance sounds like your problem. If I could hit a 320 yard 4 wood with control, I'd have 7 wedges in the bag with a hybrid.

Don't think gaining distance with the 3 wood should be a goal.

Well it's the only wood I've got right now bc I'm cheap so I need the distance. But if you're wanting a new club def look at the Cleveland's. I think it's a 'Launcher' but I can't remember.

If I was hitting 300 yard 3-woods, I'd ditch 13 clubs, find a driver I could hit and enter a long drive contest.

I believe it. It's not crazy long. 320 with that 4 wood you're swinging is freaking crazy long. Don't know the circumstances that led to 320, but if they were normal, that's mashed.

I have no clue if you are lying or not . . . but anybody that can hit a 17* 3 wood 300 yards should be able to hit a Driver an insane distance.

and unless they know they can control it, I wouldn't hit it. Go with a 48-52-56-60-64 wedge combination and a few irons be set.
