Henry Ruggs pleading guilty and will serve between 3-10 years. I’m not a lock them up and throw away the key type of person, but that seems like a rather light sentence.
Peter Shrager made a good case for the Lions Gibbs pick. He said they weren't looking for a bell cow, to address people criticizing not picking Robinson. They're looking at him more like a WR. They wanted another weapon for their passing game. Imagine Gibbs and St. Brown on 3rd and 5.
PS also said he was aware of a team trying to trade to 15ish to draft Gibbs.
I just hate taking a RB that high. I get it they think he’s gonna catch 70-80 balls a year and he can be a game changing returner. It’s just the asset itself.
Not trying to go all D4H here, but I remember watching our game with Bama and a couple of times he made it look so easy to get outside. One play he should’ve been hit as he was receiving the handoff and he has such good feet, he just sidestepped and busted it outside for a touchdown. Ever since that game I’ve thought he’s going to have a big time future.I just don't think there are guys like Gibbs available. You can always find a guy to take 12-15 carries, but you can't find Kamara, and he transforms an offense and you also salvaged a 2nd rd pick in the process.
Fans don't matter...........All about TV money. SucksESPN - NFL owners OK flexing of Thursday night games
That’s going to be some fun times when the game you bought tickets for weeks or months ago and which you’d planned the entire week around a Sunday kickoff suddenly gets moved to that Thursday less than a week beforehand.
I know I'm in a small minority here, but I think Gibbs was the best back in this draft.I just don't think there are guys like Gibbs available. You can always find a guy to take 12-15 carries, but you can't find Kamara, and he transforms an offense and you also salvaged a 2nd rd pick in the process.

Tampa Bay has not worn the orange, white and red uniforms -- which are a recreation of its set worn from its debut season of 1976 through 1996 and include a white helmet -- since 2012, when the NFL's implementation of a one-shell rule made wearing these alternate kits impossible.
