Summer of the Vols!
Where is @BigSteve09 ?
Kind of the point. Peyton was all about Levis' "measurables". Said he was "genetically built to be an NFL QB". A lot of so-called "experts" were high on Levis. Not just Mel Kiper and ESPN. But his game tape is not good.I love Peyton Manning, my favorite QB.
But his opinion isn't exactly the be all end all, he backed Fulmer and Schiano as well when asked.

I love the espn posts that say Will Levis had a .1% chance of not getting drafted in the first round....according to who?? He had nearly 100% chance of not getting drafted in the first round because every team has known for at least a week that they weren't willing to take him with their pick and they weren't willing to give up much to get back in later in the round to take him.
I agree that our opponents don’t want us to get talent… our offense is extremely difficult to stop. It's a full court press on their part. 5* WRs in this offense terrify them. And their negative recruiting technique would die on draft day. WRU would be here. All this couldnt have happened in a day. But this class may be pivotal. Let's hope.
Edit: I don't think @volbeast33 disagrees with what I just said. He is just more inclined to stress and articulate the present hinderance than I. I'm more inclined to stress how we could break thru. He seems to me to attribute more substance to the negative "narrative" than I, whereas I see it more as propaganda but not without some ground to stand on. But in either case, a top in nation WR class would put all of it to the test. But I don't speak for him. @volbeast33 Is that a fair description in your view?
Or average actual draft positions of all his first round projections vs projection? There are plenty of ways to slice and dice it to arrive at that number, but it's always got to be how someone's opinion has fared vs reality, which is what they should say insyeas of making it seem like laws of the universe were strained for it to happen.Considering 3 of Kiper's top QB's in the past 20 years have dropped to at least pick #22, the math says that the odds of it happening to a QB in any NFL draft are about 15%. That's a far cry from 0.1%.
