Maybe, just maybe, we got too many guns in this country. Chapter 359,567,897.

Be interesting what everybody says about this one. Wonder if the family will get a Whitehouse invite like the poor kid in KC.

All of these shootings are horrendous, but if the KC shooting was immediately linked to racism, will this one be so linked as well?

Right on. Crazy thing, I've lived 47 years and never once had the thought of ducking bullets. And, I live in a state with Constitutional carry.

I've had several near-misses with fireworks, gasoline, cars getting sideways, and trees falling funny. Oh, and a great story of moving a 1,000 pound safe by hand. And when I stepped on a shark.

She wants to talk about peoples life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness being threatened or interfered with, and yet she was one of those cheering on the government forcing people to close their businesses, arresting or penalizing people for going to church or other public places, forcing children out of schools, etc.

the communist aligned lib gun grabbers want to take the guns as a step to achieve their full marxist state. Scare tactics are just a means to the goal.

I don't see how we manage to put common sense into all these homeowners now arming themselves. Maybe we add some sort of basic agreement to a gun purchase that the homeowner agrees not to use the firearm for self defense except in certain cases, or where warning is given.

This is a less frequent problem than others. But these two cases illustrate once again that a lot of people who are able to obtain and possess guns should never have been able to in the first place.

And isn't it interesting how Puddinhead offered the black kid a tour of the oval office, but as of yet nothing to the parents of the girl. Yeah, he ain't a pandering racist prick. What is really sad is that no one cares and let's him go right along on his merry way.

I've really surprised about the 18 year old cheerleader that was shot when she got in a car. There are some powerful forces of pussification somehow that played a big role in this. If you're a pussy, you can buy a gun and be an armed pussy. That has always been true, but it seems like they suddenly make up a big big fraction of society now. I don't know the guy, but holy cow. Who shoots an 18 year old female? And if people are that afraid, they really do need to be disarmed. I've always thought the mostly likely person my wife would ever shoot is me, for just that reason.

Why are young people so scared? It has to be environmental, right? I'm not sure how much philosophy can really fill you with fear, but maybe it's a lot.
