Gun control debate (merged)

25 year old white male "legally" and casually creating a massacre, because access to guns is more important than regulation, when it comes to politicians paid to look the other way by gun manufacturers.

Instead, we are to consistently ignore how these makers create more guns than we need, resulting in unimaginable yet avoidable horrors upon humanity.

Let's have hearings on TikTok, instead. The corporate agenda necessitates our suffering and constant fear of gun violence, the dollar demands it.

‘No Way To Prevent This,’ Says Only Nation Where This Regularly Happens

You believe it’s legal to commit mass murder?

Odd coming from a guy who asked how to illegally purchase a gun.

Why do you believe government is the solution to this? Will the government lower their desire to take the lives of others?

If not, are you really making any difference or are you simply slowly eroding the rights of others. Because the truth is homicide will never actually end. So everytime one occurs you expect us to continue passing stricter and laws eternally?

Not lower their desire, but curb the apparent sex appeal some perceive in mass slaughter with guns, like in the movies. Slow them down a tick.

Imagine if your child was the 8th one killed, in a separate classroom from the first. And people make the argument that the shooter could have used a knife instead.

Come on. Everyone understands why these guns are so popular in this situation and that they increase damage at a faster rate then anything short of a grenade.

So you just want to slow them down? Meaning you don’t actually care?

You’re admitting they’ll continue dying and you won’t care enough to do anything else after we accept your proposed solution right?

Again with the “let’s reduce the lethality of child mass shooting events”.

How about “let’s reduce the likelihood of child mass shooting events”.

What are you prepared to do to make Schools less likely to be the next target? Or do you still want to talk about Grocery Stores, Theaters, & Banks?

There’s certainly a way to prevent this. 100% effective.

They did it in England. They did it in Australia.

Just come out and say it. Stop being a little bitch about it.

Sure it did. You were talking about getting a gun in the 2nd amendment thread while being an admitted habitual drug user.
For the 100th time, I was asking about a particular handgun in the 2a thread. You saw the post and remembered I smoked and have accused me of illegally purchasing a gun ever since. I was not even aware you are asked a question on a form about smoking weed when buying a gun. I have not since purchased a gun. But that form is ridiculous anyway, you think everyone tells the truth on it??? Part of the problem. Shouldn't be relying on the honor system to obtain killing machines.

Legally?

That's like saying the Boston bombing was done legally.
Or the parade getting run over was done legally.

And you are really going to have to show how there physically being this many guns has created the issue. Because that is 100% bs. If the guys with arsenals were the ones doing the shooting there would be a real problem.

That’s why the background check takes place on top of filling out the form. Maybe they should give an on site drug screening too.

Until there is a resurgence in men being good fathers, husbands and leaders of their family, I dont see the trajectory changing.

Increased security is the only answer.

They've been commercially available since 1963 at the very latest.

You need another boogie man because this timeline doesnt add up.

It’s disgusting that they flat out refuse to do anything to protect schools - knowing full well it is the schools that are the first choice of many of these crazy madmen.

There's literally millions upon millions of people in this country who, if they did something like this, you could say in retrospect "Oh sure, I can see it. It was because of concussion/bad breakup/depression/got fired/drugs/mental illness flavor of the month."

There's one thing -- and one thing only -- that all of these shooting have in common.
Yep. Murderers.
