That’s kind of like blaming air because bad people breathe it.There's literally millions upon millions of people in this country who, if they did something like this, you could say in retrospect "Oh sure, I can see it. It was because of concussion/bad breakup/depression/got fired/drugs/mental illness flavor of the month."
There's one thing -- and one thing only -- that all of these shooting have in common.
The breakdown of society, which encompasses a lot of things. This is where the “Society” answer is actually the correct answer.
This is a good example of why people shouldn't smoke weed.25 year old white male "legally" and casually creating a massacre, because access to guns is more important than regulation, when it comes to politicians paid to look the other way by gun manufacturers.
Instead, we are to consistently ignore how these makers create more guns than we need, resulting in unimaginable yet avoidable horrors upon humanity.
Let's have hearings on TikTok, instead. The corporate agenda necessitates our suffering and constant fear of gun violence, the dollar demands it.
‘No Way To Prevent This,’ Says Only Nation Where This Regularly Happens
The breakdown of society, which encompasses a lot of things.
The whittling away of the nuclear family.
The lack of discipline.
The acceptance, in some cases glorification, of mentally ill behavior.
Guns have been accessable throughout the course of US history. The problem isn't the guns. The problem is the degradation of society, and it all begins with the family.
They are spoiled, with an inflated sense of self- importance.. and I raised Gen Zs.. mine are a little spoiled, but they are pretty aware that the world does not revolve around them, can’t say the same for the other ones I’ve been aroundGen Z is riddled with problems from high rates of depression to all sorts of mental illness (including gender dysphoria). As a country we need to have an honest discussion about why that is. Is it the parents? The culture? Social media? The progressive education they have received since elementary school?
We can know it’s not the actual guns because they don’t shout themselves and this country has been full of them for centuries.
It’s telling this selfish, self absorbed puke live streamed his handiwork. I really don’t know because I don’t have children his age, but is this me me me focus the norm these days?
I have a couple of millennials and they were spoiled growing up. They both got a college education and an indoctrination to the real world when they were turned loose on their own. Now that they are raising some little gen Z's a light bulb has lit about how big of a pain in the ass kids can be. They see the social media influence and realize how bad it can be over their children. They are spoiled, with an inflated sense of self- importance.. and I raised Gen Zs.. mine are a little spoiled, but they are pretty aware that the world does not revolve around them, can’t say the same for the other ones I’ve been around
I will never forget when my daughter was 12 and had her sleepover for her birthday, one of the little girls got blue fundip all in the carpet and I went to get it up and she told me to calm down, I was overreactingI have a couple of millennials and they were spoiled growing up. Just gonna go to the bank and withdraw some money and have a nice d…. nope
Another shooting. Another public place we’ll have to "harden".
Police response time 3 mins. And he was able to kill and/or maim 15-20 people in that time. I guarantee with a handgun it would’ve been half that, maybe.
Oh well, just more sacrifices in our fight to have military grade weapons.
cop in critical condition who had been on the job for 10 days. Welcome aboard rookie.
The gall of some of y’all. This generation "Z" is growing up all over the world. No civilized nation is having this issue except this one. It’s the folks who raised them valuing their expectation to not have 2A rights inconvenienced in the slightest over others’ rights to walk around murder free.
The first thing needs to be special permitting for these ARs or just none at all. It would cut down casualties in these events even if it wouldn’t prevent them.
But y’all just keep deflecting from the issue, while everyone else just hopes they can somehow deflect bullets.
Clowns.
I think the answer is E. All of the above.Gen Z is riddled with problems from high rates of depression to all sorts of mental illness (including gender dysphoria). uh, in neither story were the victims armed, nor were they shot by someone defending themselves. so your little song/poem/rap is pointless.
Why are the vast vast majority of these shootings only include unarmed victims, if everyone having a gun is an issue?
to the bolded, why?Just gonna go to the bank and withdraw some money and have a nice d…. nope

Which drugs? Prescription, too? Antidepressants, mood stabilizers, antipsychotics, and opiates? Androgens?
And we put these drugs into kids when their brains are developing. We use them as chemical parenting. It's happening with one of my employees kids now. Divorced parents, the 12yo girl was napping in school. The teachers/mothers solution was to chemically treat it. What's funny is, it only happens during the weeks her mother has her. Her mother doesn't see that she's in bed on time. The dad is fighting this as best he can.Good question. The vast majority of mass shooters were all on a Antidepressant or pain killers. These turn some into zombie killers it seems, though they probably had issues to begin with, so it's hard to say. I know that Americans consume the majority of the drugs put out on the market, but are about 1/120th of the worlds population. Maybe we should stop putting so many chemicals in our bodies and people would be more "normal"? IDK.
I am not a back the blue type of guy; and I think its an incredibly bad idea to make sure the government (cops) are the only ones with guns. Like the worst idea possible. but not because of individual shootings. just look at how we have treated disarmed populations in this country.Oh, well, I suggest you ask cops who gun down their unarmed victims with 16 - 40 shots why they do it. Pointless target practice, probably, or they must get an erotic stimulation from the sound of their guns going off. Bang, bang, bang.
Meanwhile, more bang, bang:
Minnesota college student charged after cache found in dorm
St. Olaf student charged for terroristic threats after custodians tip off police
You having fun yet?
It's because their ultimate goal is total disarmament. They want the ARs, then they'll want anything that holds more than 10 rounds. Then they'll want all semi autos, then they'll want all hand guns. If we're lucky we'll get to keep muzzle loaders and single shot shotguns.I am not a back the blue type of guy; and I think its an incredibly bad idea to make sure the government (cops) are the only ones with guns. Native Americans? Genocide, constant uprooting.
Africans, slavery, oppression, experimentation. Gun control as we know it got its start in Jim Crowe laws, and it hasn't left Jim Crowe behind.
Japanese getting interred, Chinese and Irish slave labor.
Denying people guns has been the number one way to ensure atrocities happen. I believe its a definite case of be careful what you wish for.
and no I am not having fun that people with absolutely no clue how firearms work, are pushing measures and laws that are, and will be, incredibly ineffective. And instead of admitting that the past measures haven't worked, and trying something new. The solution is to double down on what is already not working. I don't enjoy that the anti 2A have to resort to straight up fallacies, that its legal to just kill people, to have an argument; and try to justify denying people their rights just so they can "do something", even if that something is ineffective. I do not think its fun that we take such short sited views to just do something that we completely ignore the ramifications and that our quick measures now are just making things worse. These proposed gun laws are just creating tomorrow's problems (Gun Free Zones). I do not think its fun that any attempt to say maybe we do something about the people side of the problem is met with derision and cries of just wanting to blast people with my guns.
