Read an article earlier that even though Triple H is still head of creative, final say-so goes through Vince again. That should ruin everything.

Also read it looks like WWE is out on signing Jay White.

If it's a signing, it would almost have to be Jay White. I mean who else is out there that would tip the scale in a way to warrant the build up? With forbidden door around the corner it would makes sense. The only other major coup I can think of would be hiring Stephanie McMahon to head the women's division. Or maybe Kota Ibushi?

I am thinking it's not a signing though. I bet it's either the launch of a streaming platform, a new TV deal, or television home for ROH.

The more I think about it, it doesn't seem like a new signing. He has mentioned having shows in the UK and being close to having a deal done so maybe that's it. Outside of Jay White, and this is a very unlikely one would be Goldberg as far as signings go. As long as it's not one of those dreaded Dixie Carter type announcements that hardly ever amounted to anything,they should be okay.

I forgot about Goldberg. I hope they don't go there.

The UK thing would make sense. They could tie it in with Forbidden Door.

From what I've read, once Vince was back, WWE was no longer an option for Jay White. As in he wants no part of Vince. Also read that a lot of current WWE talent are unhappy that Vince is back, to the point some are considering asking for a release. Some are willing to give it more time to see if Vince is willing to let things go and let Triple H do the job he's titled for. Vince being Vince, I expect it to be a trainwreck.

I honestly question how Vince went from building the WWE to what it is, even thru the Attitude Era, to the crapfest it has become? When did he lose his ability to be a visionary? Is it age? Was there someone else behind the scenes who came up with the ideas? What happened?

He's always had things go to him having final say. Back then though during the Attitude Era, he had writers like Russo who pushed the envelope and Cornette who had knowledge of the business. Now, it seems like he has a bunch of yes men and everything comes from him. Not very enjoyable. I think age and being out of touch plays a big role.

As far as AEW, great news on picking up Jay White. Great signing.... Could be a guy they could fit in the Main Event scene with MJF easily. From what little I've seen of him,he's really talented. Big news on going to Wembley Stadium. TNA did great over there when they went to the UK. Good that they're expanding overseas now.

I don't know if anyone has watched AEW All-Access yet. I've watched both episodes so far and man... I don't know... I almost feel like they are pulling the curtain back too far...

Well, it looks like Steve Maclin will face Kushida for the Impact Championship at Rebellion after Josh Alexander had to give it up due to injury. A surprising choice for a title match,but they looked to be pushing Maclin hard before it happened so who knows.

There is no curtain anymore.
When the undertaker stepped out from the curtain as Mark Calloway that era was over. I’m not saying it was his fault but there are video clips everywhere proving that wrestlers aren’t the same and don’t take that side of the business serious anymore.

Yeah,what they call Kayfabe. To make it look like they had legitimate issues with one another. They went to great lengths to hide things from the fans. For example,Ric Flair lived his character 24/7 and it cost him a lot in his personal life.. Like you said,with social media and the cat being out of the bag,guys and girls don't care anymore. You see photos on their social media hanging out with each after a match with each other. I think it's better that way. Fans know what it's all about and still enjoy it. I do for the most part.

I just don't tend to follow wrestlers on social media. I don't really follow celebrities either. It makes suspension of disbelief much less complicated.

The new behind the scenes show doesn't appeal to me. It seems like a reality show. I don't watch those either.
