The WRASSLIN’ Thread

Uh, his face being all puffy like that makes me think he might be fighting cancer. That looks like the side effects from the steroids they prescribe to deal with the side effects of the chemo.

I would guess it's just plastic surgery catching up on a 76 YO who has overdone it....hopefully

I’m still lost as to why the usos dropped but Roman retained. If you keep the bloodline going why not have them retain?

Are Owens and Zayne going to Allie with Cody or was their involvement just keeping that feud going?

My best guess is that since they just won the tag titles, and it wasn't Roman with the World title. They also knew that they needed one feel good story because they made up their mind that Cody wasn't winning on night two. I don't care if it was because of the sale, Cody losing last night made zero sense. Ric Flair is one of the greatest heels of all time and they knew how to book him to drop the belt at the right time, and put the popular babyface over(Sting, Steamboat and Dusty)

Anybody hearing rumblings that the new owners of WWE will take the big 4 PPVs back to 50 bucks a pop and not have them on Peacock, once that deal is over? I've heard several of the online shows speculate that will happen.

Peacock/WWE Network has been the only reason I'm still watching WWE PPVs. If they go back to the $50 bucks a pop, I'm done.

I saw people thinking that's what will happen. Endeavor will do what they do with UFC fights and ESPNplus.

Seriously, I could justify a $5 insta-cancel subsciprtion to see RR, Mania, and maybe Summer Slam.

But $50? hahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahaha no.

If they ever went to $50 for the major PPVs,you can count me out as well. It's basically killed my interest in MMA as a whole with them charging $70 each UFC ppv plus the $10 on top of that for ESPN+....

It's speculation at this point.

But I keep Peacock for WWE, their movie library, and the occasional live event. Losing the big 4 WWE ppvs would likely kill that for me.

I'm already paying for AEW ppvs. I'm not going back to paying for WWE per show. I threatened to cancel Peacock and start New Japan World back when WWE ruined NXT. I even dropped Peacock for several months. But ultimately came back for the Royal Rumble this year. I'll be revisiting that decision if Endeavor goes that route.
