However, another way of looking at it is simply that a historical bar against prosecution of the protected has now been tossed aside; they are now as much game to be hunted as anybody else. Knowing that; perhaps politicians will clean up their acts.

We need the original framework; that was good. We just need to clean out the nest of vipers and do a complete reset. Maybe torch DC and move the Feds to someplace in the middle of KS (middle of the country is there as I recall) ... puts them in the "heartland", flyover country (not a place anybody in his right mind would want to be if you know KS), and close enough to Leavenworth to serve as a reminder. Also, the next pelosi wouldn't have to insist on a better AF plane to avoid landing and refueling. Not really taking a shot at KS - my dad was from KS; most of it's just not a yuppie/preppy in place where the elite would want to live - makes it a perfect place to plant the federal government.
