How could we have destroyed OPEC?

I can't say I have an answer to that. However, if we used our own oil domestically, it might be a start. It's also hard to believe that we couldn't cut a deal with a country or two to the south of us that would ween them away from OPEC. Food for thought anyway.

We’re allowing Biden’s friends from China to make inroads with all the oil and non-oil producing countries to our south. We wouldn’t want to interrupt that. The Chinese are our friends after all.

More winning
The really scary thing is that, under Biden, we’re rapidly heading toward a world that replaces the U.S. Dollar with the yuan as the world’s reserve currency. When that happens, the Great Depression will look like prosperous times by comprison.

I have never seen such a convergence of crisis. One can say WW's or Great Depression, but the nation was much more untied.

If gas starts doing what it did last summer, it’ll decimate the Biden Administration. The American people will have had enough. At least I think so…
You would think, but just look at the dems on this board. I don't think Biden handing the country over to China would upset them one bit.

Japan has broken the pact with the US and its Allies and has bought Russian oil above the price cap

Japan buys Russian oil above $60-a-barrel cap, breaking with US allies: report

Crude is flirting with $80/bbl again, OPEC is cutting supply, and Japan has virtually no supply. Japan was probably feeling trapped if they stood by and did nothing; $70 looks like about halfway between the sanction cap and where oil is trading right now; and in a few weeks $70 is probably going to look like a bargain. OPEC's intent is to drive prices up again by limiting supply; OPEC is a dangerous force that needs to be tamed, but the question is how. OPEC could have chosen to be good guys and not exploited the Russian sanctions; they chose otherwise.

Too focused on conservatives being mean about 8 year old trans kids and gun grabbing to focus on the little things like the future economic infrastructure of our country. Geez.
