People are so meh about Reigns and the Bloodline now. They needed a change there. If only until Backlash.
I don't think anybody cares that he was a founding member of AEW. If he draws, he draws. And honestly, I never thought I'd say it, but Cody was probably the hottest draw on the card.
I think its a missed opportunity.

I would assume a better pay day. I would say Cody could care less about a title and more about making a living. Granted, a winning a title is a nod to a performer’s career. I don’t necessarily think Cody needs a belt to help prop him up.
My only complaint with the main event was the number of false finishes. I still don’t understand the logic in HHH giving the pedigree or HBK giving a super kick and it finishes someone, but someone else does it and they can kick out of it. That’s just me being picky though.

This. With the sale possibly imminent Vince wanted Reigns. The pop of Cody would’ve won would’ve blown that fake roof off. Not sure how that isn’t your selling point.

I don't normally watch the weekly wrestling shows, but I read wrestling articles, and the RAW after Mania is usually pretty big.

I'm looking forward to seeing the reasoning of Roman keeping the belt,and if there's a rematch at Backlash. Maybe make a stipulation that if any of the Bloodline gets involved,Roman loses the belt. Other than that,a great main event. The IC Title match was the best match of the show outside of the main event. I understand why,but the stoppage to tend to Finns cut ruined the flow of the HIAC match. A little surprised that Bianca retained the title against Asuka. All in all, a really good night 2. I'll probably watch RAW tommorow night to see where they are going with all of this, especially with Roman and if Bron Breakker makes his debut.
